I was just there at The distillery and it is absolutely beautiful and the methods they use to make it is top notch and their tequila is one of my top three all-time favorite. You can really appreciate the taste and quality after going to The distillery and seeing how it's made
Awesome video. I’ve always wanted to tour Los Abuelos but know I’ll probably never get there. This video was the next best thing, and I thank you for posting it. By the way, I live in Minnesota and had to pay $180 to have a bottle of the repo shipped to me from Southern California. Guess what? It was worth it!!!
The prices of these bottles are going hiiiiiiigh due to the demand, but the demand was initially because of the quality and the integrity of the tequila along with the history. I like that they won't increase their production numbers and stick to their core values. No corners cut with this amazing quality tequila, so if the prices keep skyrocketing, I won't be mad at it because it is true to its roots. Cheers!
They are increasing their production they are building a new distillery next door to them. I agree with you though, their core identity is not cutting corners and I'm sure they won't cut corners when they increase production as well.
To be honest I can’t remember how much it cost, but I know there’s different types of yours. Here’s a link to their official website: tequilafortaleza.com/contact/ Hope that helps 👍🏼
My question is.... Where is it? can't find it in Northern California or Northern Nevada. Are the distributors hoarding it to increase the prices? Tequila lover want to know.
It’s a lot easier to find in Southern California. They have a few places they directly distribute to, but unfortunately others do resell at way higher prices 🤦🏻♂️
I found a shop by sacramento its called folsom bottle shop. They had still strength and blanco fortaleza. They said they ship too if you look at their website.
I went to one liquor store in Washington, DC and the store owner is trying to see the Fortaleza Blanco at twice the price, $130. I said no thank you. I think it will be awhile before he sells it.
I was looking for some tequila this week. Stumbled into a local high end spirits store and eventually bought a bottle of fortaleza anejo for 94€ . Now I'm seeing american saying these cost 100+$ just for a bottle of blanco? Like damn you're getting hustled in the states.. I live in europe by the way.
Wow thank you this was such a great look on the inside!!!
there's a reason why it's one of the most sought after tequilas out there. i am forever obsess with purchasing an XA or añejo for my collection.
On my bucket list visit tequila hopefully soon. Got to love Fortaleza tequila hope Guillermo never sells🤞Nice video

What I like about it is the sweet and natural flavor of it in general. Fortaleza is made the way it is supposed to and to me is a top notch drink.
Great job, super informative.

The benchmark which all others are judged by.
Why she screaming? She's doing my head in
Great content but my question is, can you buy bottles there? And is it cheaper? Like worth the trip?
Was it worth it? Absolutely 💯. And yes you can buy bottles there at a fair price 👍🏼
@@themistercastanapodcast2646 how much are they? if you don’t mind me asking.
Does Fortaleza distillery have a gift shop for souvenirs?
Yes they do. They have a nice little shop when you enter 👍🏼
