And the registration fee is more than my property tax. And the car insurance is more than my homeowners insurance. Last but not least, the price is more than my retirement saving (if I die tomorrow ) - lol
You have to admit, it looks good on the outside. I'm sure they're trying use a better kind of plastic for parts in the newer ones. I wish I had enough money to be able to throw away a car after it hits 80k miles and not care about the money I spent. You seriously have to be pissing money to buy one of these because they're not reliable. Mercedes is still living off of the reputation it built from the great cars it built in the 80's and before. I'd rather buy a Lexus where I get the value for my money while driving a great reliable car. Yeah I'm going on a rant because I owned 2 Mercedes cars and they were both crap for your time and pocket.
used. one had 17k miles and the other had around 30k give or take. A guy I knew at the dealership suggested I get rid of it before I put more money into it. He showed me a list of things that are going to need to be replaced and serviced with the costs. I said "No sir, I'm not keeping it" and he said that I was making the right decision. Ask any Mercedes mechanic and he'll tell you the truth. It's a great car when you're rich and have someone to take it to the dealership for you. Look into the depreciation for the E-class on a span of 4-5 years, then compare it with a Toyota, a Lexus or a Honda.
