I drove for a Limo co. for several years in the Bethesda/D.C. area. The LX600 would be used for what’s called “sedan service” (1 passenger) and always seated in the right rear. Two passengers will get a single stretch while large parties get a double or triple stretch.
You’re generally just hauling CEO’s to the office with sedan service fleets.
All the infotainment will be in the rear seat area, the driver gets no luxury and only driver focused controls. The driver is a peasant.

This nothing compared to how limo services used to be in the past, this has ventilated and heated seats. Back in the day the main AC vents used to be in the rear and the glass in the rear was tinted and there was a divider between driver and passengers so the temperature in driver and passenger side was night and day and only the passengers were allowed to change the temperature to suit their needs, so if your passengers thought the ac was too cold then the driver had to sit in that heat for hours

Given the negligible price difference that there was between this and the land cruiser, i can honestly see why they made the decision to stop selling the cruiser in the U.S. if someones going to be spending 85K for a SUV, they might as well be the same people who would be spending the money to buy the LX600. Both are the same platform, both are going to have the same reliability, but ones going to have lesser interior and exterior quality over the other while having roughly the same MSRP? just make the luxury branch model the standard at that point.
