Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on our souls. It certainly is, I just used it for this recording. I don’t go there anymore since I do not attend the new mass.
The catholic church has made a massive mistake in electing this current pope who has done away with this beautiful rite. We pray the next elected will restore this tradition. If he does not, traditional Catholics must break from the control. TLM is the only mass that is centered on God. V2 has allowed Novus Ordo to focus on man which is 100% wrong. Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine et lux perpetua luceat eis. Animae eorum et omnium fidelium defunctorum per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace.
Our Lord Jesus Christ spoke Aramaic and Hebrew. He may not even have spoken Greek, much less Latin. Greek was spoken and used in the liturgy before Latin, and still is in some of the churches. There was no Latin Liturgy nor Roman Catholic Church while Jesus was alive. Read up on your history. I have a degree in Latin, but if we are quoting history, let's be sure we are accurate.
@@rsvk2 I made that statement according to 'hidden intention' on vernacularizing of Liturgy, which issued by Protestants heretic like Luther, Cranmer et al. Not for all cases, there are numbers of differences between translating and vernacularizing which one is partial and other is total.

God bless you friend ☺️ I am happy to hear you enjoy these chants
When I was in Assisi in the 1960s, we Franciscans sang many requiem masses
Aww. :-(
May the Lord Jesus Christ and our Seraphic Father St Francis bless you and keep you
Working on this right now. My parish is doing a Requiem Mass tonight in honor of 1 month since Pope Benedict XVI's passing.
Na missa de sétimo dia da minha vó , Tomazia da Costa Soares , fiz questão de uma missa solene.Porque era uma católica praticante.

It's a pity, no one sings "Dies irae" in the church nowadays.
if you are catholic and you die... they can sing it!
Nowadays, nobody goes to church. The churches are empty and for sale. The Church of Jesus Christ is Dead.

Not thinking here
Our Lord Jesus Christ only recognized Latin Liturgy (in Roman Catholic Church) and other Traditional Eastern Catholics. Not in vernacular language!
