as an air main I would recommend not climbing so steeply, it depends on the plane but I like to keep the IAS at like 240-280kmph, also always sideclimb to the left which is also where your team will generally go. Goodluck with the air grind though man, T4-T6 USSR is pretty fun and don't worry too much about getting better cause most of the stuff you just have to learn through playing the game

there is a climb chart for each plane in the game

@@user-oy8jh7rn4t true, also MEC could be used to maximize engine and climbing performance even further, for most planes with good engines though this stuff is a bit extra lol

IAS = indicated air speed, aka the speed that your plane thinks your going. Due to less pressure at higher altitudes there is less drag so the plane thinks its going slower than it actually goes.

Nice vid. Yak 3 is a beast. No need to side climb. Unless its a full up tier you out climb everything besides XP50s pretty much.

I love the Yak-3. The ammo tho 😭

You have pretty decent aim, and you’re smart enough to climb at the start. You even have a basic understanding of how aircraft stack up against each other. You are miles ahead of the average war Thunder player 😂

Hey, quick note, if you want to do more damage with your guns once you get used to aiming and leading take off tracers They do less damage than any other bullet

Not agree with you, the best shell is the HE but you only have two of them in steakth or universal, the tracers have a little less explosive inside each shells but I prefer have full of my shell with explosive than the other choices.
      (And it’s easier to shoot)
And btw, IAS mean "In Air Speed" wich is different than ground speed, for example if you have a 100km/h wind comming from the front of your plane, and your ground speed is 250 km/h, your airspeed will be 350km/h.
The airspeed is what really matters because it’s what will affect your plane’s performance.

@@yummyredrobin2764 use the protection analisys tool on planes to check out how fast the different ammo types fly, or how much he filler they have, for some reason war thunder doesnt tell you anything if there is multiple types of ammo in a belt. 😊

@@romainpibs7128 technically IAS means indicated airspeed, which the speed the aircraft "feels". The higher you go the less dense air is, so in order to maintain lift and be able to move the control surfaces you need to travel at a higher speed through air compensate the less dnese air.
This "real" speed is called True Airspeed or TAS, like the time it takes to go from A to B when they are _ km apart. Ground speed is TAS but taking into account wind, meaning the two points A and B are not referenced to the air of mass you are travelling through but the ground.

You’re really not that bad just your aim really is the biggest red flag for me. You know about the aircraft’s you are facing and exploit their weaknesses. Awareness and aim are always something that everybody needs to improve anyways I think you’re gonna be alright pilot.
