    if you put the ignition on and the diff lock in you can remove the half shaft and the diff lock mech will stay in place so you can re fit the half shaft again also depends which side the diff lock locks up .

    Any idea what caused it to come loose? Looks like it might have been loose for a while

    I worked for CPD when they got the contract for South Kesteven DC in Grantham and I'm surprised Phillip bought you new boots 😆. Is the build quality of the wiring still as bad on the bodies?

    Have Mercedes dropped the re-torque after a 30 minute wait? We had a system at work where red indicators were fitted in place of the yellow ones to signify that the wheels had been off, the driver would then re-torque after the first day and then fit the yellow indicators.

    So much for your walk round checks ???? but that invoice should be sent to the company that last fitted the wheels ? ie some Miky Mouse Tyre Company well most are though, most probley put on with an air gun,
    If wheels are fitted corectly they Never Come Loose.
