    Was happy to get the email stating there was a new video. It reminded me I have this foot and I have forgotten to use it on a couple projects. Just used my Pearls and piping foot recently. It makes my piping SOOOO much easier. thank you.

    Lovely video in HD! I have all your creative feet. What thread did you use in the beginning of the video (blue thread)? Thank you

      I used Marathon 40weight Polyester on this in both needle and the bobbin - this is one time you want to match both in color and thickness :)

    One came with my Elna and I wondered what it did hahaha, now I know! Is it a Zigzag stitch or a blanket stitch?

      You're probably recalling a blind hem foot, which looks a little like my Satinedge foot but it's not the same.

    • @clare-rowley
      @clare-rowley  5 лет назад +1

      You can use this Creative Feet brand Satinedge foot with both blanket and zig zag stitches yes 😁

    By the Way....the link for creative feet doesn't go anywhere...I had to copy paste to use it. Maybe that is what you want, but in case you wanted it to be a link I thought I would let you know. :-)

    Have you ever tried it on a cover stitch machine?

    • @clare-rowley
      @clare-rowley  5 лет назад

      This would not be suitable for that machine but can create a mock cover stitch by using a double needle. 😁

      I designed this foot to replace the need for a Serger.

      @@clare-rowley I know this particular foot was not designed for the coverstitch machine, but I know there are alot of people using coverstitch machines that would love something like this if it was attached to their clear foot. Just thought I would bring it to your attention as the inventor. I love my Satin edge foot and use it all the time. I belong to a facebook group for coversticthing and some new users have trouble lining up the edge of their neckbands. You were the first person I thought of.

      @@tracylga The first foot I invented was the beading foot for the Serger so this is an interesting idea, I'll consider looking into how the machine functions and what remedies could be created. Thank you. 😊

      @@clare-rowley YOU invented a beading foot for sergers? You are an amazing person, Clare! I enjoy both my server beading foot AND the Pearls ‘N’ Piping foot on my regular sewing machine. The finished product is much different on my serger compared to my sewing machine, but I like both ways of attaching a string of beads or fake pearls.
