Personally, I really like the 8-Bit Jam.
And for good reason. The choose your seeds theme from NMT is one of if not my favorite song in the game. It does it’s job greatly and gets you prepared for what hell is to come.
@@ertyboi944 yeah. You can even tell from this very video that it's the most replayed segment. It's one of the themes I listen to every now and then myself(and I haven't really listened to a whole lot of the pvz 1 and 2 tracks for who knows how long now), it's just that good.
From NMT I prefer the ballad jam

Modern day final wave music makes me feel so weird, it sounds so great and upbeat, but it also sounds like the last part of an adventure that you don't want to end

@W But I never even paid a single cent and yet I’m thriving? How is it P2W. That’s literally why it’s a fun game. You need to strategize to beat levels. Those micro-transactions are there, just like any other game.
@@skirigari well yes. But a lot of people just seem to be complaining about it. At least back then. Also it is a lot less neccesary with the upgrade system. I still try to keep all my plants at lvl 1

Fact #2 Trologobite is part of the "Bully" build (Jurassic bully, Arcade zombie etc ).
Fact #3 Zombies spawn in the ice blocks in Frostbite Cave's boss battle.
Fact #4 Beghouled is a game inside Modern day.

Back when the Ultimate Battle and Minigame themes were still in the game, Pirate Seas had one of the best UB themes.
Why were they removed?

I liked Ancient Egypt music because it had that same zombie vibe from pvz1, the rest of the pvz 2 music were more on the vibe of the world instead of zombie vibe.

Mid Wave B is my favourite Modern Day song. I mean- I feel like it sounds more like *the end* to the game more than the final wave. It's a remix of Graze The Roof btw.

@@Kitsu_WormI like it but I really feel it’s just boring, it doesn’t feel really as “the end” for me, mainly because it literally is just focused as if MD was just a normal world with no twists like the portals or the zombies form different eras.

Jurassic Marsh final wave ost really gets me every time, like its saying "Here comes the wave so do what you can to defend"
My favorites tend to be the final waves, particularly with the later worlds, but the earlier worlds definitely have the better first wave themes.
I feel like First Wave was present so many times because the game tends to snowball through later waves, as the constant panicked slaughter of zombies keeps forwarding the waves, but First Wave tends to stay a good bit longer as there aren't many zombies to forward the waves, meaning you hear the song more and grow to like it more, even though other songs are better (BWB Final Wave should've won)

To me, Ancient Egypt first wave hit unusually hard to me.
You’ve been dragged back in time, and now have to fight for your life. As the reality of your situation sets in, that’s where the slightly sad tone of First Wave sets in.
I went in here hoping pick your seeds from Neon Mixtape was gonna be chosen and good that it was.
Also the ending part of Modern Day's Final Wave really makes me bang it out for some reason thanks due to the Jurassic Marsh's guitar/banjo.
I’d say I agree with most of these. But I’d just change out modern wave final wave for mid wave B. It’s definitely a favorite of the entire game for me. I didn’t even know it was graze the roof at first tbh I just love the song.
I like mid wave B for modern day more than final wave cus final wave is a bit to intense

To be honest I really like mid wave a on far future, there something about those first few seconds that does it for me.
The energetic part of song reminds me of Oggy and the cockroaches idk why

So, I know that final-wave of modern day is good and all because of its remix and reference of Zombie On Your Lawn, but what about the wave right before it? The Graze The Roof throwback sounds so much like a boss theme whilst remaining that nostalgic feel *and* feeding well into the final wave.
I love the lost city’s song, it sounds like it’s from one of those 1950s exploration movies.

Ancient egypt is my favorite pvz 2 song especially the start of the song im not sure what instrument it is i think it might be a harp or a lyre but ancient egypt slaps.
NMT Choose your seeds is my top tier. It's like Zen Garden from PVZ 1 and kinda like lofi type of tune.

Besides NMT, Modern Day and Jurrasic March Final are my other favs too
To be fair, a lot of the worlds’ Demonstration Mini Game and Ultimate Battle music are Bette Ethan their theme. Lost city comes to mind.
Im so glad Neon Mixtape Tours most upvoted song was Choose your Seeds (I like to call it the calm before the storm).
Choose your seeds are usually tracks that are pretty calm and tame, nothing too special. But NMTs version just absolutely shreds in Choose your seeds,in fact all the tracks there are top tier in pvz 2. It's perfect

Pretty sure the CYS song in NMT is actually called "Sincerely - The Theme".
Also, I don't really like Modern Day's music. Too epic and anime like, and I would have preferred it being as calm as Front Yard, just for the irony of having such hard levels with such relaxing themes.

theres some worlds i dont like any particular song much more, but all the ones i do are here, except for neon mixtape tour. if i had to pick a favourite for that, itd probably be hair metal. but ever song from that world is great and one of my favourites in the game, except for pop jam
I have a weird glitch for the mobile version of Pvz2 where the background music won't play (or for Ancient Egypt, it'll keep on repeating the same part of the song)

@@Persac7 No, because it’s usually the one they hear the most clearly since there’s very little going on during that time. Every other wave track can easily be drowned out by the constant zombies moaning and the plants attacking.

Teh only one i have to complain about is big wave beach, imo the best ost gotta be the Elite battle, with the guitar riffs, it's soo good, also i'm like "wtf???" About the fact that the 8-bit theme of mixtape tour was the second after choose your seeds, imo the 8-bit jam track deserves the lowest place

I am slightly disappointed that the Demonstration Mini games or the Ultimate Battles didn’t show up here. I thought more people would like one of my favorite tracks, Lost City Ultimate Battle. Despite this, I still enjoyed the picks from the community.
These weren't actually included in the poll, mainly due to them being too similar to each other/being removed from the game/probably winning every category.
I’d say the music was getting better as the worlds come by. You can just feel them trying out new things and improving the atmosphere with it… It’s one feeling I had that some don’t.

I’d say I agree with all of these except Neon Mixtape Tour’s, choose your seeds is really good, but I think Boombox zombie is better, a lot of it has to do with not being able to really hear that track
I wonder if kazoo and medieval go hand in hand, fantasy life's ost had a lot of kazoo in it, but I guess it had a lot of wacky toy percussion too
