The jump scare is earned and very well executed. You, unlike the vast majority of fan films/directors ( if you can even call them directors...) understand the importance of composition and framing. Your use of negative space was perfect. This was a pleasant surprise. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Very well made. I'm never really jumpscared by Micheal in any of his scenes but this one got me.

I liked the camera work, the phone interaction with the Linda-like character, the fact that there were more patients mentioned to have escaped, a nod to the possibility of Michael & Jason being in the same universe, and the sirens heard letting the audience know the cops are looking for the multiple patients. Almost everything about this was pretty good. My only complaint was that the actress portraying the Laurie character didn't seem creeped out at all or showed no sense of fear UNTIL Michael grabbed, attacked, and killed her. Good job overall.

I’ve seen a few Halloween fan films and this is the only one that did justice to the source material
This was really good!! The scene with Michael in the window made me jump.I thought overall it was really good I just wished it was longer cause I was really into it!

This is the one and only fan film I have watched that actually made me jump. You do a great job of getting the audience so focused on one thing! Like, I was sitting here waiting for him to come out of the shower and he came from somewhere else! That was brilliant and very well thought through. I hope you will make another one. Even if its not on Halloween, please make another one. That was truly scary and true Michael Myers fashion.

It's hard for me to think of a better HALLOWEEN fan film than this. And so glad someone finally one that actually looks decent and not shot on a phone, and apparently understands the movie very well. You could wonder did Carpenter shoot this film? When the shape grabbed her at the end, dead on. Was that the same guy? Lol its crazy how well this was done

I love that the girl looks like Chloë Sevigny a bit. I love the colors and visual tone you got (especially in the opening scene) - spooky, autumnal, nostalgic, melancholic. The silence from her is perfect too as it matches Michael's own and makes them silently bonded.

This is honestly my favorite Halloween Fan Film. In 8 min you make a very well crafted and suspenseful fan film with a jumpscare that actually scared the crap outta me. Bravo.

Man i got to tell you...it is too great, I almost shit in my pants....just amazing even the location you used seems like haddonfield.
First fan film I actually enjoyed... the fact it knew not to take itself too seriously is what made it work.. the no dialogue was brilliant and the added humour was genius... truly impressed here..
I appreciate that very much, thank you. Tried to strip it down to the bare essentials and make it as simple as possible like the original was (also, a lack of budget will make you do that!)
Now THIS is how you do a fan film! I really loved all of the little references like the hat on the wall, and how her friend kept saying "totally". Really fantastic work!!

this is really freakin good! you got a lot of subtle details from the original down perfectly, especially the tint, camera work/ angles and lighting. I also really like that you can tell that the police are already looking for a couple of mental patients with the use of sirens. I only have two problems. 1: the actress that plays the Laurie-type character doesn't seem very scared at all. 2: the mask. It looks really good, except the cheek outlines and eyebrows are a small bit over-defined. overall its an amazing short film, and I hope to see more from you!

Wow.....this was awesome! To think, I almost didn't watch it because the fan made one's are usually pretty cheesy. Not always, but usually, although I certainly commend the effort. I usually dont comment because at least they have the balls to try and make something. Yours blew me away though. Excellent lighting, sound quality, etc...and the actress did a great job too. Hope to see more from you in the future because you have talent. Great job!!! 👍📹🎬
