Been watching you over a year and this is the first one I couldn't solve without guessing. The 1 2 pair in the bottom left corner, I just picked one and happened to be right!
Sometimes you just can’t for the life of you see it, different day you’d see it straight away. Glad to see you’re as human as the rest of us Rangsk! Thank you for the video 😊
This is one of the best puzzles you ever did. For some reason, everyone was blind to the exact same triple. Very peculiar. I wonder if the 3 digits were different, would it have been seen more quickly. Something about visualization is at play here.
Thank you for posting this! I was absolutely stumped on it for hours, and even when others pointed out the triple, I just couldn’t see it. Thanks for walking us through the process; I feel so validated knowing I wasn’t the only one who got stuck!
Hey I used to do sudokus as a kid but they were easy, almost 30 years later I started again on the internet and realized I did not know some of the techniques for the harder ones. After a week of watching your videos I've managed to solve this just because of your explanations, so I appreciate this kind of video when you explain a lot and I'm sure it's helpful to others. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
Doing this one way late, I’m very behind in my Sudoku‘s. Started it last night and got stuck at the exact same point. It took me 20 minutes to get there and I just stared and stared and thought “what the actual heck. Is this a bad puzzle? I don’t understand how there can be a solution to this. “ Came back to it in the morning, still couldn’t figure it out. Came to watch your video and saw in one of the comments that everyone got stuck at the same triple. So I thought OK, there’s a triple here somewhere and then I found it. It was great to see you go through this and Finally figure it out. Thanks so much for doing these!
I always try the puzzle solo, and go to your feed when stumped; you were stumped at the exact same point I was... that triple was an optical illusion of some sort. Thanks for the video. Also... don't mind the explanations at the beginning - they're very useful. It helps identify different ways of seeing things.
I tried this puzzle twice and got hung up and finally gave up. It makes me feel a little better that it took you this long. 😅 Thanks for sharing your logic. It's helping me be more confident when solving.
I did this puzzle twice. The first time I ended up guessing out of frustration; luckily I guessed correctly! But it didn’t help at all when I tried again. I got stuck in the same place again. I never would have seen that 128 triple. Thank you for walking us through the solve!
Got stuck at the same point, after 30 minutes of staring seemingly blankly at the numbers (Started to feel like I was in the matrix) came here, glad it wasn't just me! Great solve!
This was great! You were my guide when i started playing a few months ago and when i got stumped last night i knew it was time to come. Imagine my delight -- you got stumped too! Phew.
Always leave it as it! A lot of us struggled with this one today - I think when there is a triple in a row/column with so few digits placed it is not intuitive to look there.
Great to see you struggle a bit! No editing, no re-filming... I did this one during my morning coffee as usual. Got to the point where you got stuck. Actually I spotted almost immediately 1278 quadruble. I didn't realize it was 128 triple until I watched your video. I always highlight the cells which I feel important. Viewing the solve I kicked myself. That 36 pair in c6 is sooo-oo obvious! I was so sure it was your keypoint today...
I've been doing these every day and so appreciate that the easy and medium levels are linked in the Sudoku Pad. I do those as well, often finding the medium ratings to be pretty hard. I was leery to try this one, though, seeing the 40 min video length. But I did give it a go and did very well! I'm not an expert, by any means, so I attribute this to an accidental solve! ha! Thanks for all your videos, Rangsk!
Yep, it's a good Sudoku experience. I followed up on the two possibilities toward the end and solved, but I was glad to see there was a hidden triple to use as logic that explains the solve.
Came to this video, skipped to a random point, and was genuinely pleased to see you were stuck at the same point I was lol. I would have never found that 128 triple.
Yep I had the same experience as you getting to a small number of cells and utterly unable to find the hidden pair or triple and bifurcated in the same way.
Much respect for posting this one in its entirety, lots of detailled explanations that may have put you off your stride a bit maybe? Like many others I got stuck searching for that same triple as well.
For me, I noticed if I put a 2 in the bottom row of grid 8 then that made R1C9 and R6C7 a 1 which meant that Grid 9 had nowhere left for a 1. Removing the 2s from from the bottom row of grid 8 left the 3 in R9C5 which solved it for me.
"Smeared over these cells" Rangsk going inte quantum mechanics. Yes, this was interesting. Somehow I spotted this triple way before being as far solved as you were; I had not spotted at least one other hint you exploited before. One cell still was 128, which makes it easier to spot.
I can't lie, this one was actually different. I think it was an extended unique rectangle between boxes 7 and 9. But now I can't wait to see how you did it.
I also struggled at the same point just lookin for something I was clearly missing but watching your solve i noticed a hidden 36 pair in the same column as the 128 triple

I appreciate your transparency and “humanness.”
I got stuck in the same spot, had to come to your video to see it. Thanks.
@@MathewPlaysGames-e6s exactly the same here...

I got stuck at the same spot. Came here for the answer. Thank you.
Same stopping point, took a break, came back and saw it. Rough one!

I've never stared at a fully marked puzzle for so long. Only spotted the final tripe in C6 thanks to your videos and persisting with your techniques.
Always leave it as it! A lot of us struggled with this one today - I think when there is a triple in a row/column with so few digits placed it is not intuitive to look there.

I would have been burning the midnight oil if I hadn't got your video to get me over the hidden 128 barrier so thank you.

This was great, Rangsk. Always better to keep in the snags. Makes the rest of us feel better! Plus, that triple was legit hard to find.
It happens Rangsk, it took me 39 mlms to find that triple. But I still enjoy doing these puzzles, thanks for all you do for us.
Much respect for posting this one in its entirety, lots of detailled explanations that may have put you off your stride a bit maybe? Like many others I got stuck searching for that same triple as well.
Got it in 15 but that was a real reasoning challenge, I had it filled exactly as you did and had to see the implied 36 pair in column 6
9:04 to solve. Tough triple to spot in column 5!
30:35 for me. I didn't watch the video yet. I think a triple 128 in column 7 was key for me.
15 for me today, pleased with that, thanks rangsk!
"Smeared over these cells"
Rangsk going inte quantum mechanics.
Yes, this was interesting. Somehow I spotted this triple way before being as far solved as you were; I had not spotted at least one other hint you exploited before. One cell still was 128, which makes it easier to spot.
People have actually made Sudokus with "Schrödinger cells" 😂
I can't lie, this one was actually different. I think it was an extended unique rectangle between boxes 7 and 9. But now I can't wait to see how you did it.
The animation at the beginning still says 2024
14:02 for me. That was a very tough spot. I had a hard time too. Very nice puzzle!
I also struggled at the same point just lookin for something I was clearly missing but watching your solve i noticed a hidden 36 pair in the same column as the 128 triple
Stuck at same point for ever....
I restarted this one 3-4 times to try and get/keep my momentum. Didn't help.
i had the same problem solving .....now i don’t feel so bad....
I got to the same place but for some reason I spotted the right thing.
Thanks!!
Thank you. Regards.
At 21:22 I so expected... "well... where do 3 and 6 go in this column (6)"
thanks!!
13:29
That triple is hard to spot the question is what is a good way to see that type of triple?
I'd also love to know
Practice makes perfect applies to Sudoku puzzle as well.😄
Yes. I would like more help spotting triples as well.
kind comment
Column 6 has a triple 1, 2 and 8 that will solve it
14:06 for me.
I had to use a W-Wing to solve this one
W-wings are fun even if they're unnecessary in NYT puzzles!
18:48 for me.
Often the harder games will reach a point you cant reason to move ahead but have to rely on attempts by luck and get a breakthrough .
13:08, that triple was a tough spot.
God damn 40 mins
33 minutes for me
