When using the adapter, I know the camera charges the receiver on top but have you noticed any decrease in battery performance? Just wanted to see if the receiver takes any power away from the camera and filming times
@@RyanChang to be honest, I didn’t notice a huge difference-maybe around 10 minutes. When I plugged the receiver into an external battery that shows wattage, it used about 1.0W on standby and jumped to 1.5-2.0W when both mics were active. For context, recording 4K video with full processing typically draws around 10W, and the NP-FZ100 battery (16.4Wh) lasts about 1:40-2 hours. So the extra 2W from the receiver might shave off 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind, features like autofocus, active stabilization, and max screen brightness also affect battery life. And if you’re using an older battery, it may have less capacity than a new one. Hope this helps!
@@AnthonyZboralski I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think this title is clickbait. The video highlights a couple of issues with the adapter that could be dealbreakers for some Sony users, so I felt the title reflects that. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, though!
@@OlegKovalov honest titles are so much better and less cringe... If I do a search on RUclips and I see multiple videos... I'll click on honest titles first instead of "don't do this until you watch this"... or "and this happened".... also I already bought the device...
@@AnthonyZboralski I hear you, but I wouldn’t call it clickbait. The title highlights real issues with the adapter that could matter for Sony users, so I think it’s fair. That said, I get not everyone likes this style of title. Appreciate your input, though!
