I needed a getaway day so I took a trip to Boston to investigate a something in the museum of science and to get some lobster rolls and clam chowder.

one of the youtube rule is that whatever video you upload, youtube can use it for their own beneficial purpose. So if the museum buy it from youtube, it's okay. But if they just download it, meh still okay because appearing in a museum is cool!

I am a Korean born and raised in Germany. Authentic Asian food cravings out here in Berlin are intense.
There is some good Asian food out here but not as much as in the US.

I understand that money is potentially not all he wants. The publicity is good, only if they actually give credit to him in the museum, which I'm not sure if they did or not. And again isn't it literally copyright to take his content without any permission?
I think if Mike complained, instead of giving him money to continue showing it, they probably would just shut it down. As it is, it's pretty cool that one of his videos is in a museum. That's could be considered a life goal, right? Lol.
i’m from boston, i always suggest oyster house for visitors. but in my little town of quincy we have Tony’s and they have buffalo clam strips, lobsta rolls on freshly buttered rolls and something for everyone. another favorite was the lobster shack in weymouth. my friends used to sail thier dinghy across the bay to get the freshest lobster.
I honestly recommend driving that trip. I live in Boston and my parents live in the NYC suburbs. By the time you drive to the airport and check in and fly, you could already be up here in your car.
I love how Mike makes up those new phrases that always make me laugh, like “forecast eating”. Now that’s a super power Marvel could make a movie about, lol

I suggest motion sensor lights outside all around the perimeter of the house. A light timer from lowes/Home Depot can also be useful, especially since you travel! It'll turn on/off lights automatically at the set time you want. Ring wifi enabled doorbell from Costco is also good for security. Cheers.

Two kinds of lobster roll - Connecticut style which is lobster with melted butter served hot on a bun. Maine style which is lobster with mayo served cold on a bun.

I’ve had the best chowder of my life in Boston. Several places. Just a step above everywhere else in the world. I’m sure all places do vary, but we used to go bar hopping, and get a cocktail and a bowl of chowda at each, then go to the next. This was in Faneuil Hall downtown, great times.

Also Teado, is one of the best boba places in Boston, and Taiwan Cafe is really good too, I'm so happy you visited China town.

My favorite place to get Scallion/White Cut Chicken in NYC is at back of the Kamboat Bakery at 111 Bowery for their non-baked goods. It's cheap and they give you decent portions. The back counter isn't open all day. I believe it was mornings to late afternoon. They sell out the chicken fast though. I recommend checking it out for a quick bite. They call it Hainan chicken in the bakery though it doesn't have the flavored rice you would expect a Hainan chicken dish to have.

Mike--As I recall, from my childhood in NE PA, at 5:00 AM in summer, the sky is light from early AM due to the earth's tilt. So, while getting up in the midwatches of the night is no fun, it could be worse. It could be mid-winter and dark as pitch; the precipitation could be snow/sleet, and you could have your commute slowed down considerably by driving on black ice.

I grew up in Massachusetts. It's small, but like three different states. You have the west, the Berkshires - Central, Worcester - and the east, Boston. I grew up in the west - ask the governor if he/she has ever been there. :) My mother taught me to make clam chowder - better than any restaurant chowder.

Clear sounds pretty easy. Lol, I always end up in China town. Grew near one in Chicago. My parents took us there for good grades, clean bedroom, behaving, breathing.... They loved Chinese food, and so do we.

Hey mike, a few questions:
1) was that rice with 3 meats called 三寶飯? I've been trying to find out if anyone else calls it that on this continent.
2) Do you also have boba radar? I was in Bellevue, WA late one night craving boba tea. As I was driving, I sudden turned to my wife and went, "There's a boba shop somewhere here!" and made a right for no reason other than boba radar. And yep, there was a tapioca express there... Please tell me I'm not the only one that gets that feeling.

Now that you’re living in Redmond you need to check out Pike Place Chowder. It wins the chowder competitions over everyone else (including New England restaurants). Their chowder is so awesome. Definitely try all their different chowders including the seared scallop chowder. That one blew me away and is the favorite for everyone I know that has tried it.
Mike, you have to go to James Hook and Co for the best lobster roll in Boston. And to Captain Parker's Pub in Cape Cod for AMAZING clam chowder!

1 hr flight from JFK to Toronto, dude. Go up during the Caribbean Carnival and gets some island food, then check out one of the Chinatowns!
I finally tried bubble tea. I like the fruity ones, coconut and mango bubble is my favorite, not overly sweet, which is a plus for me. everytime I go I get my favorite then get a 2nd one of a different mix. I don't like the chewy bubbles, I like the other that pops in ur mouth of notice but juice

There are two kinds of lobstah rolls- with mayo or with butter. Depends where you go. Some people swear off one for the other. You got one of each kind!

How cool that you were in a museum exhibit! I think they should have gotten your permission but then again maybe more will find your channels. CLEAR looks nice but $15 a month is too much since we fly 4-6 times a year and already have TSA pre-check.
