Making an annual coffee table book would probably be a better balance of your time too, rather than stress on making multiple magazine deadlines. You are amazing woman, have your home organized and decorated perfectly, you bake and cook with love for family and friends....I would love you as my friend! You know the secret of a great life....balance, taking time to enjoy the little moments in daily life, creating a loving "nest" of home, honoring our country's heritage, finding "treasures" at little stores, creating from nature etc. Yep, you are one very talented, giving, caring soul! I love your videos!
During a major snowstorm, while many of us are getting up to two feet of snow, I edited this video to upload. I hope you enjoy the few topics I'm sharing. I know I said I was going to do a few short videos, but I realized that creating a longer one, that includes several topics, is less editing and uploading time. I know! How selfish of me! ;-).
I must be selfish. I want both, seasonal magazine and a coffee table book. I ordered the past issues of New England Fine Living and received them last week. Thank you. What a quality publication.
Country Curtains are really the best for quality & price! I got 3 valences (Hatfield pattern) and they look so great in my 1803 house's living room. Cutting the panels - great idea! Butterscotch Rolls - another great idea - not having to rise dough is a time saver. I would love a SEASONAL magazine! New England has so much to offer, Linda you are the best to hightlight it!
I would love a coffee table book with your decor/paint/food & garden - landscaping ideas and shares. I enjoy your simplistic elegant decor & decorating where everything has a story. Take care be safe. : )
I would LOVE a seasonal coffee table book! What a joy it would be to peruse this book to find inspiration. I keep books for decades, rarely magazines. I do have a collection of TOH magazines because I find tips and tricks within those pages that have guided me through projects. I live in a condo so I have to be mindful of what I’m able to store in this small space. Please DO a coffee table book, I would snatch that up 🙂!
I am really enjoying your channel. I am a former New Englander, who lived in Andover, Boston, Watertown as well as Burlington, VT. My family then moved to upstate NY which was very colonial in its culture and design. I am now retired and due to downsizing had to sell many of my antiques and here in southern Georgia/northern Florida the appreciation for this era of design is not as desirable so seeing your channel makes my heart sing. Merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy new year 🎊 to you and your family!
I cant get enough of you! Coffee table book or magazine. You can do no wrong where I'm concerned! You are a very talented and creative lady. Just give all of us more of you however you want to do it. Merry Christmas xoxo
This was all so delightful. I can almost smell and taste that butterscotch. I would rather a coffee table book. I love those... but would be happy with either.💚🎄❤
I think that I am Madame Persimmons! A friend of mine has Persimmons trees on her property here in northern Italy. I picked all of them because when they are soft I slice them and dry them. We eat them like chips. I have seen just a few seeds in the whole batch. I have been told that there are 2 kinds of persimmons.
I also really love your channel. Have searched for other fine living online magazines - could not find much. You have found something no one else has and you truly show fine living in all you do. Would love to see more online videos and a coffee table book.
I collect coffee table books and I have followed you for a while, so i vote for a coffee table book.I do not live in the east but love to visit the country site and homes when we travel there. Stay Safe till the next time.
I so enjoy your videos. I am in Arizona so we never have snow . Your pictures of snow are so pretty. Your rolls look delicious and I am amazed at all of your varied talents.
Yet another very interesting and enlightening video. Really enjoyed the varied topics. My vote is seasonal magazine...something to look forward to each season. Thanks again for all your time and effort.
I love Country Curtains. Their products are such great quality. The butterscotch rolls look amazing. A coffee table book would be amazing. I wish I could help you with your book. It sounds like it would be an amazing journey.
Thank you for sharing the curtain tips! And the butterscotch rolls recipe. Definitely going to try them! I would love seasonal magazines. You have a plethora of great tips that would enhance any season. But if you choose to do a coffee table book I’m your loyal fan and would love that, too!
I was trying to pluck up the enthusiasm to go and put the washer on in my bungalow underbuild in Spain. So I had a bright idea and uploaded this video. I've recently bought bedding for the visitors bedroom and it's classic like you have in your video. My friend always wants me to go for more bright colours but she likes a Bohemian look. That's not my style. So off I went to ' work ' knowing I had your video to reward me when I came back inside. Thanks for showing us how to use the webbing. The curtains looked nice at the end. Thanks for the recipe too, looks delicious. Regarding your question. I would like both magazines and a coffee table book but personally I would find it easier to buy your coffee table book.
I’ve just discovered your channel and we are indeed kindered spirits! I love everything about your decorating style and channel. I live in BC Canada and rarely find anything in consignment stores that suit my style. I’ve been hunting for hurricane globes for a couple of years now 🤣! I also haven’t even found any new that I could buy and have shipped here. Assuming you’d be able to ship to Canada, my choice would be the coffee table book. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home and inspiring dreams and ideas for “fine living”!
Hi Linda I did like you showing the snow. I am in the south snow is a big deal. I made the butterscotch roll. I used a small box of bisquick. They came out good. Sent some to my neighbor. My husband has eaten a few. This will be a re-do. Thank you Pauline
Country Curtains! I just discovered I can find on The Vermont County Store site. How I miss the store! Seeing Persimmons during the Nor'easter was funny. I am mixed on the curtain rod - I see it matching the top of the bed posts and it being a major headboard where it appears to connect. Of course, there isn't anything I do not like that you create! Happy Friday, Kindred Spirits! Oh, forgot....Coffee Table Book!
Love Country Curtains, thought they were no longer in business, but I found them on The Vermont Country Store. So great to know, because I live in Georgia and there’s nothing like them here. Go with the book. Your ideas are classic and need to be kept forever. Thanks for your snippets of life in my home state!
I would love a magazine.....or a coffee table book....anything from you would be FANTASTIC! I’m going to make your butterscotch rolls soon...they look delicious and easy, too! By the way, I have received several Christmas cards from your card exchange....thanks you for such a nice idea...we all need some “kindred spirit” love this year, for sure!
Your guest room is so lovely! The curtain idea was great and so useful. The rolls....oh boy...my wheels are turning with those yummies. Love the fairy in every room..I have a star in every room in remembrance of a loved one. Merry Christmas and thank you for your inspiration❤
I would like to see a seasonal coffee table book. Never heard of seedless persimmons before seeing your video! Btw Linda thank you for your Christmas card and also to the other “Kindred Spirits that sent cards. Great idea! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I would love a coffee table book. I make cinnamon rolls and just shipped some to our daughter along with other goodies I make at the holidays. TYFS, stay safe and healthy everyone❤️
You're welcome! It will be worth the trip back to the store. I forgot to link the recipe from my blog. If you need it... newenglandfineliving.com/blog/2016/9/9/ztzchbpxbgxgjh9yuil3xe7dnvdvo0?rq=butterscotch%20rolls
Love this video... Linda I enjoy the fact that you do projects in your home like making the curtains rather than just buy new curtains! I love the idea of a coffee table book but usually they are so expensive .. I would rather a seasonal magazine. 🙂
I just loved watching this nice long video-it made me feel warm and cozy...and hungry!! Those rolls look delicious. I think my husband and I will make them Christmas morning. It’s great you were able to reuse those beautiful curtains and easily rework them. Whichever one is better for you-I love books and magazines equally. Hello, sweet Willow ❤️
You are a New England girl after my own heart ! I was born and raised in Massachusetts , Worcester County but now live in RI , it is a State very rich in history . My birth era was the same as yours , ADHD , MS , Fibro . With much love to my Grandma for raising me right , I have always held my old New England values close to my heart . It’s so alarming how GMO is eliminating seeds from everything , it’s not normal , it’s a shame actually ! We enjoyed our storm a few days ago also but spent it looking for a lost kitty , it made a beautiful storm scary . Happy Holidays ! This thumbnail isn’t really me nor my name just FYI it’s my incognito me . ♥️
I prefer seasonal magazines. You have persimmon persistence. Lol. Love the curtains! have a similar wall color in my master bedroom that you have in your guest. It's been 17 years and I had the thought the other day to change it up. But, after pondering I just couldnt because I love it so. I guess I will keep it for another 17. Some colors are timeless, I think.
Thank you I always appreciate you and lovely spirit Linda, ❤ sharing your thoughts &inspirational decor ideas and your recipes 🥰❤☃️🎄🎅🤶☕🥂 have a blessed merry Christmas 🎄
Love your videos? I always learn something new and useful. Coffee table book would be very nice during my morning coffee or evening special pampering me time.
I enjoyed your video from beginning to end. Being I live in Northern Calif. in the valley we do not get snow so I really enjoyed seeing yours. Seasonal Magazine please.
Yum, those butterscotch rolls look delicious!! I'll make those! I love your videos, your home is beautiful and your voice so soothing! I love the guest bedroom, lovely. It's great how you reuse items. I would love a coffee table book, it would add just the right touch to my living room! Merry Christmas!!❤
I would love the coffee table book with seasonal sections within it. It is easier to keep and look at over and over again, while magazines get stacked up, then tossed when you get tired of too many magazines lying around.
MERRY CHRISTMAS !! Love your home and decorating ! You could get some decor items and hang from the curtain rods. I know their out of "style" but, I loved the candles that hung on things that still had the "wicks" attached. You could loop two over a nail or curtain rod ..etc. Just a thought, Ha.
Hi Linda I love coffee table books however I feel you do have so much lifestyle in you that a periodic magazine can be successful. Thank You and im going to fix the butterscotch rolls for my husband.
Hi Linda, I enjoyed this video. Your curtains are one of my favorite styles of fabric. I just know my hips will be forever loyal to your butterscotch rolls. Seasonal coffee table books would be timeless and would actually become part of holiday decor. Easier and readily available for decor references and maybe some fav holiday recipes. Just a few thoughts. 💕Tfs 🌲Happy weekend
Boy I'm going to try making those butterscotch rolls!! I'm thinking my husband would also be coming into the kitchen if I was a baking a batch of these up 😋 Your guest room looks beautiful very welcoming and hopefully in '21 we can all have guests and be guests again! That's a hard choice for me I like magazines but I also love coffee table books, hummm I think I'm going towards coffee table book! They just look so beautiful when you set them out 💗 Enjoyed!!!🙂🍁

My husband did installations for over 30 years in Rhode Island. He is the best and very meticulous.

I would love for you to do a coffee table book❤ I love your genuine spirit.

Everything, my dear, is rocket science, especially to beginners. Thanks for the beautiful calming music.....e
So cozy , I would love to stay in that room if i were a guest.
The seasonal magazines would be my choice. But then again, a coffee table book would be just lovely!! Both, perhaps? In different years, of course.
