Ifox Arck Like i said i wanted to enjoy it really i mean playing Umbrella spec ops in raccoon city before RE2 had some serious potential but the story was bad and the game make no sense Soldier are bullet sponge and Zombies are weak. Which should be the opposite. I played it when it was released maybe they fixed it in the mean time but my experience was not good no matter what i managed to do it completely.
leon campaign in re6 is horror for like 5 minutes, then it becomes the action horror schlock of the resident evil movies. again not bad, but not what I crave from an RE game.

This music doesn't sound like it's supposed to get you pumped up to fight zombies and grotesque monsters but more like you're about to take on some rogue commando terrorists.
I hope after resident evil 8 they go back to this style of gameplay with the epic action and over the topness its so fucking fun and epic to play especially with a friend you just have an absolute blast doing slides shooting zombies and pulling off wacky martial arts. plus Simmons is a fucking organic transformer that turns into a fucking zombie t-rex! 10/10
Im pretty sure they will remake RE6 one day 😂 I hope they have action in to as well just not to much you know 🤷♀️ gotta have some horror in it but I hope they keep the running style in RE6 tho
When Leon had twin wing shooters, I was pretty stoked. I didn't hate Helena, she had the triple 10 gauge, so that was cool... I would have much preferred a familiar face...
@@codysego6161 originally she was going to be leons partner but she was already in resident evil revelations 2 during development and they didn’t want to mess up the story so they just added helena ..... although I don’t hate her she did feel bland at times
@@mrwaffles3106 well I don’t know how Claire would’ve worked given the story. I mean Helena is an agent like Leon, and helps set Leon’s part in the story in motion. What would Claire be doing there? How would she set the story in motion? There would obviously need to be rewrites. I also noticed that all the familiar faces of the main 3 campaigns are paired with new characters: Leon with Helena, Chris with Piers, and Sherry with Jake (Ada wasn’t paired with anyone, since her coop partner is non existent storywise).

Which is ironic, because on one end fans complain about coop in a resident evil game. On the other end, fans want coop added to the one single player campaign in the game.

This theme gives me horrible memories of that rope section at the last chapter of their campaign I was playing on old gen (Xbox 360) even though this game strayed from the resident evil formula it was still an awesome game to be played in coop.

Outlast rip off? Name 1 similarity between Outlast and RE7 other than the first person perspective. Outlast didn't start or pioneer first person horror games. Amnesia did. So if you're going to call it a rip off if anything, call it a rip off of Amnesia. Also, RE7 actually introduced new characters and Chris was in the game.

I've finally realized this game is pretty good. Has a great story...especially Leon/Helena.
Say what you will about BH/RE 6 as a game, you have to admit it had a great soundtrack. This track was one of the highlights.

Leon's campaign--at least the first part-- was so reminiscent of earlier RE games. The underground catacombs was sort of like a cheap re-do of RE4.
