Tempest Clerics get Raiden's signature armor and Call Lightning. As for mechanics, aside from occasionally maxing out thunder and lightning damage rolls and having access to all Cleric healing spell, with Divine Strikes, you start adding Thunder Damage to a weapon attack and call follow up with the ubiquitous Spirtual Weapon flavored as a lightning themed bo staff. Since Raiden directly often invokes the name and directly communes with the Elder Gods, the flavor is all there with no multiclassing required. You can also fly at epic levels.
I like 2 levels of tempest cleric and 1 of monk, with 17 of storm sorcerer. You can use lightning lure and shocking grasp as "melee" attacks in place of actual hand to hand. The channel divinity is like a fatality, doing max damage on a lightning attack, once per short rest. And getting access to cure wounds and healing word is pretty god-like, as is having a 9th level spell slot to upcast lightning bolt. If you don't care about the monk unarmored defense and will wear armor, going 14 storm sorcerer / 6 tempest cleric gets you two channel divinities and call lightning.
We need a Lightning Farron (FF) or Ryuko Matoi (Kill la Kill). As a joke one is really like to play as the girl from The Grudge or The Ring... you know long black hair ghost lady.
Thoughts on Fire Emblem poll: Claude: Dragon riding rouge with bow skills Edelgard: Axe Lady that turns into a fallen angel or something Dimitri: Sad/Angry spear boi Dimitri is at nearly 50%. I guess in D&D, having a build to kill every last one of them is a good thing. Still voted for Claude though.

If/when you do Edelgard, could you make a bonus section where you give some idea of how to make a boss fight version of her Blue Lions route form? I know enemy builds aren't the point of this series, but that seems like a pretty interesting boss to make.
for a slightly less MAD and less accurate version of this, monk for 5 levels and then all the way in tempest cleric would get you something similar without needing charisma so you can have better CON. Love the stuff tulok
For a Subscriber special it would be dope if you or someone role-played all of your created toons to have one big massive tournament to see which build comes out on top.
Guessing before I watch. Race I would guess is a Scourge Assimar. Gets you flight and scary glowing eyes. Background is tough, but I'd say it'd give Arcana and History skills. Class, I'm going to say it's likely a mix between Storm Sorcerer, and Four Elements monk, but I could see arguments for Sun Soul working as well. I dont think Barbarian would fit at all, but I could see an argument for Storm Cleric to replace sorcerer, since Raiden is devoted to protecting the realms.
Gonna venture a guess here. Protector Aasimar... Absolutely gonna be a dip into Storm Sorcery and Monk (possibly a reflavored Sun Soul, but more likely Open Hand). Maybe a small toe-dip into Temoest Cleric for extra lightning and flavor. EDIT: well. Wasnt really thinking the cleric thing would show up, but was worth a shot. And totally didnt know Way of Tranquility was a thing...
A bit late for a reply (9 months, lol), but I would flavor the hat like a hand axe, giving it a throwing range, and because it's a simple weapon, you can use it as a monk weapon and thus use your Dex for it! To make it return, I would multiclass monk (unsure which subclass, probably Open Hand or Kensei) and Eldritch Knight from Fighter!
Since Evil Raiden clearly uses a Breast Plate and Punches, I'd say grab a single level of Fighter somewhere along the way as well as swapping INT and STR during Array Assignment, so you can get Medium Armor Proficiency and the Unarmed Fighting Style and reflect the character appropriately.

Rahkshi: monstrosities with wizard levels (evocation or enchantment). Nidhiki: Drider eldritch knight (or possibly Oathbreaker paladin). Krekka: Goliath Barbarian with INT 4. Visorak: giant spiders. Krahka: Changeling Archdruid. Tahtorak: Literally the Tarrasque. Sidorak: Battlemaster with an army of giant spiders and some critically low Insight checks. Roodaka: Rogue / Warlock (Makuta pact) Axonn: Really big Dwarf paladin. Brutaka: Really, _really_ big Elf Oathbreaker paladin with a Helm of Teleportation. Piraka: Skakdi need to be their own race, because nothing in D&D gives elemental powers dependent on teamwork. Lariska: Rogue with a prosthetic arm from Eberron. Hydraxon: Beastmaster with a big dog. Episode 115 of the Fire Emblem stats: Raiden, god of thunder. Raiden's great at authority (as one of the few leaders of the Mortal Kombatants), both types of magic (light and thunder), lances (closest thing to the staff), and flying (he can fly on his own). His magic, speed, and resistance are great but he's not very lucky or strong.
Dimitri is easy: Fighter/Barbarian multiclass. Claude and Edelgard would be much more interesting;) But I'm just glad to finally see the 3H lords on a poll!!
I have a bit of an odd request, partly because I'm not even sure it's possible. Yoshi. I mean, the signature flutter kick is probably the easiest of his move set, and I don't think you can even get anything close to his egg lay, but I can't say that I'm not overlooking something either.

Now now, Tulok, you're not a scumbag for being a zoner. If being a zoner made you a scumbag, Street Fighter 2 wouldn't have debuted with one of the most iconic zoning characters in fighting games with Dhalsim. You can join me in the class of fighting game player who doesn't deserve the shit they get on Scrubquotes, because I moved a few spots over on the character select screen of SF2 and picked Zangief instead and chose the life of a grappler.
I mean, yeah, as a grappler, I'm gonna be saying VERY BAD WORDS at you if we ever play a fighting game, but that's your divine right to play that style and I'll just have to adapt.
Episode 115 of the Fire Emblem stats: Raiden, god of thunder.
Raiden's great at authority (as one of the few leaders of the Mortal Kombatants), both types of magic (light and thunder), lances (closest thing to the staff), and flying (he can fly on his own).
His magic, speed, and resistance are great but he's not very lucky or strong.
Dimitri is easy: Fighter/Barbarian multiclass. Claude and Edelgard would be much more interesting;) But I'm just glad to finally see the 3H lords on a poll!!

I have a bit of an odd request, partly because I'm not even sure it's possible. Yoshi. I mean, the signature flutter kick is probably the easiest of his move set, and I don't think you can even get anything close to his egg lay, but I can't say that I'm not overlooking something either.
