Your home area is the region that you live in. It’ll be the areas around your zip code. It could mean half your state or your entire state. But out of state is definitely not in your home area. Let’s say you live in Denver. All the cities/suburbs around the Denver area would be your home area. I’m not 100% sure but all of Colorado could be in the home area as well. Sorry I don’t have a better explanation. But I hope this helps!

I hope I can answer your question. I moved three hours away from my family and when I log into my account using my computer or Roku it recognizes the location at my family residence when I visit. I get a notification asking "Are you traveling?" and another one I can't remember at the moment. This was the same process when I went to Hawaii. As far as your parents location, I am not sure if there is a work around. I think it is by GPS because of the agreement we signed.
My sister added me and I showed up on her list as family member, but when I signed on , it didn’t work. Still wanted me to create and account and pay for the service . Starting to think the add 5 members for free is false advertising
Why does it link them to my photos, and drive. They have there own gmail, google photos, and drive. I dont esnt them having access to my stuff? How do you fix that?
Did you share your account using the Invite method within the RUclips TV website? Don’t share your own Gmail account/password. If you do anyone you give it to will have full access to your account including your email, docs, purchases, Google Play, etc.
@@TheRenderQdoes this change if you have the 4K Plus that unlocks unlimited devices? I understand it is only for those 5 people on the family plan but can everyone watch the same program at once under the unlimited plan and not the base plan?
How does the family manager share an additional package to members? My wife is the family manager and just added me (I accepted the invite). She has NFL Sunday Ticket, but it does not appear on my membership. When I click "How do I watch this?" it says: "You have access to the same networks and packages your family manager does. Ask them to add any additional networks or packages you want to watch and/or use." How does the family manager add/share this with me? Thanks.
That is one part of the sharing I’ve never dealt with. I don’t subscribe to additional services on RUclips TV so I’m not sure how it’s done. But it can’t be difficult to do. But the message you posted makes it sound like you should be able to access everything the main account holder has subscribed to. There’s a page to manage users. Maybe it’s there. Or on the page that lists the premium services she subscribes to. Sorry I’m not more help on this.
Is your video still relevant? I am sharing as a family member. My sister has the account in her home area. She is trying to sign in for me from her Ipad. She has been able to log into my account, but all she can see is asking for which service she wants under my account. Your video shows that it should go right into youtube channel and she could watch for a couple of minutes and then sign out as me. Your thoughts?

Trying to family share without success. No phone number to talk to someone to help with trouble shooting.

If I share my RUclipsTV with 3 family members can each one of them stream in 3 separate devices and can I still stream in 3 separate devices?
The answer is no. Only 3 simultaneous streams total are possible at one time between all devices/users.
