Just imagine this: 4 survivors making it through state to state from Georgia now to new Orleans. fun fact: every single start themes of campaigns in l4d2 are the same, that means you and your teammates still aren't safe, the zombies are everywhere.
I kinda love how it takes elements from New Orleans Jazz, but you just know something's wrong. Especially when the second half kicks in. Imo the perfect theme for the last campaign, you can just hear how it will all end now.
This is one of my most favorite themes ... accompanying my most favorite campaign. Well, either this or Dead Carnival. I like both the most. But respectively, all of the campaigns are awesome.
Dark Carnival: Hands down this campaign is so unique and different from everything else. The Concert, Roller coaster, Tunnel of Love, or just the fairgrounds itself are very memorable. Combine that with tons of cool Easter eggs you got yourself a winner. As for character i'd go with Nick: One because that's my name : ) and two his sarcastic and funny comments make him stand out. Ellis is a close second. Favorite opening music is from Dark Carnival.
Love the kind of vibe this theme in particular gives. the first part slow jazz and its depressing and melancholic tone really communicates the tiredness ans exhaustion of the survivors after going through so much and in the second part is when they prepare themselves for one last stand before “salvation” one final struggle to reach the end
The parish is the perfect final level in any video game. The survivors talked about there journey to New Orleans the whole game. And now there here. This is it.

@ALMAmikel69 my favorite campaign is swamp fever because of the music, the mudmen, and the whole creepy aspect to the campaign, and my favorite (and most played) character is Ellis, because of his stories, and his backstory just makes him sound extremely interesting.
@ALMAmikel69 Parish- The first 2 levels are the first I ever played, and the finale is AWESOME. Ellis- He's got the funniest lines, and seems to be the most fun zombie killin' buddy. "He's like a five year-old. With guns. And a comprehensive knowledge of all the swear words in the English language!"
@ALMAmikel69 Hard Rain because of the storms and the sugar mill with the witches. And my favorite character is Coach because of some of his great lines about food and to me he is just the most interesting character.
The parish: come on guys I know it's a little hard to cross a bridge, and plus all of us of have hatred dead center: people hate me for filling up Jimmy Gibbs race car The passing: and people hate me for- Dead center: BOTH OF US, FILL UP SOME THINGS The passing: oh, at least I have a golf club and a M60 Dead center: true Hard rain: people hate me for having so many witch's in the sugarmill, AND, being punched of into the water by a tank at the end Dark carnival: hey parish nobody hates me and neither swamp fever The parish: oh, I never thought about that, but it was just 2 levels that people don't hate Cold stream: YOU PEOPLE FORGOT ME The parish: cold stream?! @TheHKY09 I kinda like both halves. the start is usually when your team is dicking around and gearing up, preparing. by the time you start the secon half kicks in, much faster pace, making you feel its time for business.
@ALMAmikel69 My favorite campaign is hard rain because of the rain, flood, sugar fields, witches, alternate rutes, and of course burger tank. The survivors say the funniest things here too.'One-man cheeseburger apocolypse' and that they forgot the gun bag are the two funniest parts in it. My favorite chaacter is Ellis, because like most people I think his stories are hilarious! He also seems to be more danger-prone for some reason and if I play him I get more chances to yell at my teammates to help....
In the comics, they evacuate to a military flotilla off the coast of South America, where L4d3 was supposed to pick up. The game concepts included new survivors interacting with old, new weapons, survivor-exclusive abilities, equipment, and special infected, such as a *”flamer”* which would set survivors on fire, a *”sneak”* which would quietly and silently stalk survivors and take them out without warning (you could only rely on seeing them to alert other survivors) and a new “boss” special infected, which had not been given a final role yet. Unfortunately, the game concept was mothballed and we got B4B (Back4Blood) a decade later, which is considered the spiritual successor to the L4D franchise.
@ALMAmikel69 My favorite campaign is The Passing because the L4D characters meet with the L4D2 characters. And my favorite character is Ellis, because of his stories and he is just plain awesome.
man it's just and ironic statement. it's like real parish music, but you ask yourself, does it really sound like zombies. but in the end you just go along with it.
Ellis: one time the army bombed my buddy Keith. He went camp and he didn't bother to read the sings. And I guessed they we're testing bombs that day, all sorts of stuffs too. Not just regular bombs like biological nerve gas bombs, shrapnel bombs, bombs that frag up into the air to like a hundred smaller bombs. In every single soundtrack, the second part is the same. It really tells you that no matter where you are, the infected are equally dangerous
I never thought of that tbh, nice pointing!
I always thought of it as you stayed too long so valve gave and and tried to make you leave
The end part is always the same as No Mercy
I always thought the second part was the survivors getting ready to leave after witnessing the wreak the infection made in the area
Yeh same thing I though a horde would come if I stayed in one zone for to long
I just love the buildup to "This is it"
So true, It makes you think like "Dang.. we got this far, It's just a little bit more to civilization.. we can push through this.."
It went from "Shootin zombies and havin fun"
to
"I have not.. Come this far... to die now."
Other Campaigns: "hold down and defend a location"
This campagin: *"All is lost, fall back to the bridge"*
This is far as Virgil goes but y’all can make it back to the bridge from here.
