Oh I'm soooo happy you've posted this! I've been searching for this for years. My brother and I listened to this over and over and over again when we were kids. Thank you! xx
I have been searching for this for 30 years and more! I had a tape copy from my local library as a kid, which I used to play so often that I wore the tape out. Since then, I have been searching for it in every medium that I can imagine. Whilst I have had no success in finding a copy to purchase, I have frequently searched for it here on RUclips. It came into my mind to do so again and *behold*! Here it is. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. My love for Jon Pertwee's brilliant vocal characterisations is one of the reasons I got into voice acting myself.
My sister found this and told me. We used to listen to it time and time again when we were younger, eventually wearing out the cassette. Tried to find it on eBay etc, but no luck. Until now.
Yes!!! Thank you SO much for uploading this, I've been looking for it for years. I had the tape in the 70s as a child and listened to it countless times.
Thank you so much for this! Have waited so long to hear this again. My favourite pinnacle storyteller tape since being a little girl. Wonderful to listen to again
Hi Ann, I’m glad you enjoyed the story. I used to have another copy of Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, 10 years ago, but it was stolen. I was fortunate enough to be able to buy another copy not so long ago. I still have one more Jon Petwee story from the Pinnacle Storyteller series to digitize and upload later on in the year, so hopefully you’ll enjoy that one too.
Me: grandfather Jon Pertwee: you have to be my scientific partner Myself: oh boy I am so excited for us to create time travel Jon Pertwee: great I have got to be my grandson’s scientific partner

This brings back so many memories, thank you for posting this! I used to listen to this in the early 1980's and I've been searching for it.

I can still remember parts of it. I must have listened to it a hundred times. Thank you so much.
Me too!
