Look at those corners, drifting is not a modern thing and these cars actually look and sound good doing it! Thank you very much for these uploads!

I'd be interested in reading the rule book for these races. In period (Late '60s through early '70s) Jaguar E Types were not competitive with even 289 Cobras. Even Corvettes were generally faster.

Phil Cadey - maybe they did? We only know about the Jag drivers because they were caught. I imagine those speedy Austins showed a clean pair of heels to the police Wolseleys and were never seen again. ..probably still out there..

These video’s are great, I watch them all. But, if all you commentators spent a little more time describing the cars, that would be great.

What a shame to have so much of the race end as just a parade. Why not a yellow just in that corner, and why does it take so long to clear a car from the track? Up 'till then though it was fantastic!

Wondering the same! At my local track it takes 5 minutes top!

RobertLidstroem With a classic car? Don't think so. They don't have the accessories modern race cars have for hooking it up. And for good reason the track staff doesn't want to cause more damage than neccessary.

the recovery under safety car wastes so much time, most races when there's a spill half way through finishes under the safety car or goes half pace to the chequered flag .... the low loader is not needed just pick them up with a digger and pop them on the high embankment till the race is over ... saves time, more racing, less audience moaning.
