Great job on this video! Very informative and fun to watch. Do you feel that in comfort mode it's a pleasant driving experience or do you feel that it's too specialized a vehicle and not a great daily driver?
I sold my 6MT G80 a bit ago and am looking at getting into a '25 M4 xdrive. The manual is OK, but having come from some very nice manual transmissions in the past (S2k, variety of Tremecs) I was never satisfied with it. It's a little too rubbery and vague and the clutch isn't that great. People who are used to BMW transmissions will probably enjoy it, but I could never get along with it. The gearing is also pretty frustrating. There's also just enough turbo lag to really drive you nuts if you are used to highly responsive NA cars.
Yeah I can see that. If you just like the action of rowing through gears they are fine. But don't quite have the precision. The xDrive ZF cars are amazing! We just had one as a press car and it was a great car to drive!
There is nothing more driver engaging than a manual. Just because you can set the transmission in a more aggressive setting to shift quicker, does not make it more engaging 😂
why don't the "engagement" crowd engage with drum brakes and roll up windows 🤣 - not saying the bmw has a great dual clutch but try a good one and there is no going back(wards) - they are fantastic - nothing better except the newer, faster updated one - no doubt good manual transmissions have their charm and total engagement persona......i'll agree with that for sure...but when something better comes along the charm loses its shine
Duddeee. M4’s are sick. First time commenting but I love your vids. One of my go to car reviewers 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks! Yeah these are some of the best cars out there for sure!
Glad you enjoy all the content!

I would daily drive it! But I could see it not being for everyone, but I like the ride. You’d have to test drive one to see what you think.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the feedback!

Wow❤
It's a cool coupe!
Which generations of M4 are better, the F82 or the F80?
G82, just ordered one
@user-vx9uo8xg6m Well, good for you.👍
That would be based on which one you like better to be honest. Both will be great, it just depends on what will work for you.
Sweet!
Keep working towards it!
Never Mind How It L👀KS
What Matters Is How It GOES

Yeah the M4 is a fast car!

I didn’t say that. I said it can be just as engaging…I own a manual myself, but this is just as fun. So much character and engagement.
