Voices of Singapore Ladies Choir wins Overall Best Choir at international festival

An all-women singing group from Singapore has won Overall Best Choir at an international festival in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava. The group's 21 singers sang familiar tunes of the folk song Dayung Sampan, alongside a repertoire of classical songs. They are the only group from Asia to receive Gold bands in two categories they competed in.
