Love this absolutely gorgeous journal❤️ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻and love the huge octopus page- it is so wonderful. Love the grunge of all the different papers and love that you tie everything in a story. New subscriber here and lovely greetings from 🇩🇪🥰
❤❤❤. I hear you, I hate winter 🥶 it’s long cold and horrible. We are in summer here in NZ and I am trying not to waste it this year and am getting out walking 🚶♂️. I love your generous size journals for writing in and the things you add for interest are great. Blessings lovely from Colleen.😊
Stunning job on this mermaid journal.🥰 It's inspired me to start my mermaid journal. I was teetering back and forth between an Alice or Mermaid. Alice will have to wait. Anyway, I can tell you put a lot of thought, creativity, and work in this journal. TfsXo
Those pages!!!! By far the best I've ever seen!! If you make yourself another but decide to sell it I'm there! In fact, I want to try and make pages like those right now! I'll search your video library to see if you have a tutorial.
Beautiful journal. I too cannot write in journals that i like so give them away and have a plain journal for me. Could you please add the digital collection that you used. Thanks
Ok, here are the Etsy digitals used: CreativeSkyStudios: Nautical Journal Kit (this was the main kit used) gypsycraftery: Ocean Tales (2nd main kit used) GirlOneArt: Grungy Neutrals jenniferscraps: Primed Linen VectoriaDesigns: Nautical Project Pack ScreechOwlStudio: Mariners Maidens AND Nautical Notes EmmaParrishArtist: Deep Blue Sea bylullabelstationary: several sea themed kits PixelsParfait: Ocean Dreams and Seashells SSDigitalStudio ThePaperCameo: Hamptons AND By The Sea
I always tear pages by hand to get the best effect. Then I ink the edges with vintage photo distress ink and then go over it again with ground espresso or black soot, to add the burnt effect. I used to actually burn the paper edges, but it was soooo messy and very hard to control. It is a lot of work, but the final effect is sooo nice!
I actually did a tutorial video on that. It's sooo easy to make and color possibilities are limitless, especially if you have a sparkle spray you can add to some of the colors! Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/t24hiwW0-ks/видео.html
So creative and magical!!!!
Thank you!
Love love this journal. So much of your soul was put into this. You should be proud of yourself. Love the front of this

Do you tear the paper edges and then ink them? Or do you take a cigarette lighter to them. Either way, that's a lot of work

This is a lovely journal.
I saw the Newport Aquarium gift bag. We live in Newport. Are you local or just visiting?
Love your channel 😊❤
Thank you! I live in Columbus, so just visiting, but not too far away. My family loves to go there once every year or two!
Had to come back and take a second look, this is so gorgeous!! Just an amazing amount of details! How long did it take you from start to finish?
Thank you! This one took me a few weeks because I was dealing with some winter depression and struggled to craft.
How do you make the crumbled seam binding?! I love sari ribbon but it can be espensive
