This scene just proved to us how smart Alex was. He knew sticking with Michael will be the best choice, in case Michael pull of any tricks(which he did). That’s why Alex always my favorite in the series.
One problem with this season is that Mahone hardly does anything. He’s shown to be really clever in season 2 but in this season he can’t think of anything and goes along with whatever Michael says.

Thing is Lechero would’ve had a much better chance of escape had he just bolted instead of wait for t bag and bellick, realistically he probably still would’ve got caught but you never know 3:00 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
I was so sad when Michael was sitting there flapping the crane's wings like it was flying...felt so bad for him. Prison break technically should have ended after season 2, with the 3 of them on the boat with millions of dollars. I'm glad it kept going, because more to watch, but I like to think that was how it really ended for them because they went through so much to get there.

And Bellick helped Sucre escape and not get injured. (I think Sucre mentions this after Bellick dies. Which is why he was so affected by it.)

I will admit it annoyed me how they never mentioned Mahone or LJ but the season wasn't that bad. I actually still enjoyed the 5th season. I'd personally give season 5 a 8.5/10.
You can't watch 4 minutes of a 9 hour 28 minute season of a 27 hour plus series and expect it to make sense. It's like seeing the last word of a novel and saying you didn't get it.
