He used the correspondents dinner to take a jab at his opponent? How about focus on the people the dinner was about?
Joe Biden did comment on journalists, stating what they do isn't a crime, a clear reference to recent events. He also said the U.S. it trying to free journalists who were arrested by tyrants in other countries.
I don't recall any president who ever spoke at that event *just* commenting on journalists.
Taking a jab at Trump is fine. His comment was accurate.
