I never took pictures I was just patient and knew my hair would grow but my hair grows slow so I had already knew it would be a process. My locs have grown in my two year journey. I have learned to just go with it. I like my length I just pray for fullness of my locs.

Nope the shrinkage will still be present with braids I am 4 years & 5 months with braidlocs the process lasted at least two years towards the end of my 2nd year going into 3 is when the drop came like she said have to have patience actually I just focus on life work etc before I knew it my hair is locked I just shampooed every 2 weeks & moisturize they stood up on top of my head but I didn’t care because I knew in the end what I wanted

I started with tightly instant locking my natural hair with the 3 pronged .05mm crochet hook and extended the length with Afro kinky 100% human hair tightly crocheted on to match the diameter of my instant locked loc’s.
I did this because I didn’t want to have any shrinkage or any of the many possible complications that could possibly occur as loc’s naturally form and it has worked! I even changed from 1/4 inch diameter to 1/8 inch diameter x 300 count micro loc’s! I no longer interlock the new growth monthly but allow the new growth to lock naturally as I weekly oil and separate the lengths of each loc to keep them from marrying.
The weight of each 35 inch loc and the use of the “RevAir” drys each loc smooth and taut in 15 minutes! My fast growing soft fuzzy new growth now locks on it’s own!
I can actually see the growth of my loc’s every month!
I keep my loc’s blunt cut to hip length and perfectly even. Any longer causes damage by stretching from sitting on them.
For me my loc’s are amazing! ✨💫✨
THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION!💥

@@thedigitalloctician so I’m not even one year out yet. Almost though - coming up in June. I am just sooo impatient. When I first started this particular journey, I only washed periodically. Now it’s weekly and I’ve stopped wearing a shower cap when I shower in the morning. I just bundle up my hair and let it go from there. They are not as thin as before - but my hair is super fine. I think I also have a problem with comparison.

I think the best process of locks is the beginning and the ending and the funny parts in the worst parts I have had locks for six years when I first lock my hair and I tried a couple times to lock it but then something always made me cut them but this next process I'm 43 years old will be hopefully my last process and I'm doing my best to do what I didn't do before which is due less
