Definitely Raven Beak. Like you said, he's *so* good. Mastering his fight was a blast, and the spectacle of the thing is just top tier. I kinda wish he'd flinched a bit while tearing his wing off, as that would've sold the pain of the moment better, but I get what they were going for by having him virtually non-reactive.
There’s something so bittersweet about a video like this because on the one hand it’s such a nice surprise to get such a high quality video with so little views but on the other hand it’s so unfair that channels like yours don’t get the attention they deserve. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to check out your other content!
I must say that you were pretty spot on with that assessments. The thing that makes the Kraid and Experiment Z-57 boss fights amazing too are there are alternate win conditions that Metroid Dread rewards players with for either sequence breaking against Kraid to use bombs to kill him or performing a speed run of Z-57's stage 2 that is such a dopamine rush for doing. Wonderfully made @AstralKat
I haven't actually played Dread, and tbh I had never really planned to. I've never played any of the metroid series, to tell the truth. I knew very little about Dread specifically going into this video. Id heard it was really good yeah, but nothing really specific tbh.But honestly? This really makes me want to play it now. Genuinely this looks so good and I'm kind of kicking myself for never giving the game much thought. Great vid as always and can't wait for what's next!
Great list! I loved your take on the chozo soldiers. They were great battles and I liked your details on how they iterate on them. Looking forward to checking out more of your stuff.
I'm currently playing Prime Remake on the Switch after speedrunning Dread (the first game in my life that I've done it). Loved the list (gave my boy Kraid his deserved love) and can't wait to play Prime 4!!! Cheers from Brazil
A pretty fantastic list! Honestly make me want to bootup the game up again. Also, just mentioning that you completely forgot about the 3rd Robot Chozo fight in Burenia with the Golden twins.
Drogyga is actually a very memorable boss fight for me ... Because, for some reason, I didn't notice the giant shinning buttoms that I had to shoot up to drain the water. So I kept trying to go from one side of the arena to the other, without draining the water first, which has a very tight window (because the devs probably didn't want it to happen) So yeah I had to rematch that thing a few times, without knowing what I was doing wrong
For me the Robot chozo soldiers are better than the Elite chozo soldiers, although my opinion is heavily based on the Dread mode. The Robot chozo soldiers are one of the hardest enemies to avoid, their attacks are fast and wide, especially the one they put in that tiny room, but the chozo soldiers are one of the easiest enemies to avoid, their attacks don't pose a threat, you just jump and use the dash, for me they are the worst bosses in the game.
Thanks so much for watching everyone! Which Dread boss is your favourite?

I’m partial to the Experiment boss. I love it’s boss theme

another exceptional video!
I'm glad someone else agrees the water boss was a titanic letdown after the incredible first two fights
