Chord melody done with precision. Forget the cacophony of today’s empty music. This music is done with taste and whomever shall disagree the world is much brighter outside of your rear ends! Ha! Enjoy this masterpiece

    A piece from my life:
1980’s My Mom : “ Why do you listen to that Jimi Hendrix? ❗️ He sounds UGLY!”
“ Why can’t you play something NICE, like BARNEY KESSEL?”
Me thinking: “ Barney Who ???”
1980’s : I listen to Stan’s Swing on SRVs Couldnt Stand The Weather. Boring. Always fast forwarded it.
    2006 my Mom passes
2006/7 my jamming buddy brings over Kenny Burrell’s “ Handcrafted “lp
This is nice. I can drunk off of this. ( Kenny’s method of playing intoxicates me)
2016 I first go on RUclips and listen to SRV RIVERIA PARADISE
I discover “ Swing to Bop live at Minton’s 1941” by Charlie Christian Whoa ! 3 minutes of soloing and he doesn’t repeat himself. ❗️
Me, fall 2021,22 “ Autumn Leaves “ Barney Kessel Melody by Chordal Movement Wow that sounds pretty. Whoa ! Chordal movement is hard! You gotta know your stuff. Barney Kessel is pretty smart.
Me 2022 : “ Ugh ! I can’t listen to Hendrix live. Wild Thing. Foxey Lady. Voodoo Chile.
    It sounds ugly! 😃😃😃😃
Autumn Leaves (and more) sound really nice! 🤣🤣🤣

A masterful player, to me Kessel’s work is more accessible than other masters.

Better late than never? On the off chance you are not already aware of it, the first twelve tracks presented here are from the album "Easy Like" (in fact, they comprise the entire LP). In case you are interested, more details can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easy_Like .
