    Hi Sherelle!
    I suffer from hyperpigmentation like you, and I’ve really enjoyed your videos on the Tumeric mask! I wanted to tell you that you need to be wearing sunscreen everyday bc the pigmentation will just keep coming back or not improving if you don’t protect your skin. Yes we all need sun on our skin to help us be healthy, but the face needs to be protected when there’s issues like our’s. I hope you have a lovely day! Cheers! ❤️

      Thank you for this information, I already know this but could really help others. I am trying to look for a sun block that is good for dark skin, most just make me look ashy Lool. Again, thank you ❤️

    This was me in the eighties😂😂😂 the hot comb sucks my mom and grandma had the one u heat up with the stove .would burn at times and was very heavy.Thank god for flat irons

  • @Annonymous5411
    @Annonymous5411 4 года назад +28

    Yeah, you kinda just used it wrong. You use it more like a curling iron as pressure while you comb. There is a learning curve and you did well for you first try. But you can get out bone straight with practice, main difference between the comb and the flat iron, is the comb gets your roots and edges better while the flat iron gets your ends better.

    • @SherelleSaintRose
      @SherelleSaintRose  4 года назад +5

      Thanks for the advice, I’m going to take more practice 😫

    • @zebra4145
      @zebra4145 2 года назад

      Were you trying to tell her to use the comb for the roots only? I have had a stylus just use it on my hair and it got bone straight

    • @Annonymous5411
      @Annonymous5411 2 года назад

      @@zebra4145 No, I said it's a learning curve and the the beset results for the roots is the comb while the best results for the ends are the flat iron. Both can get your hair straight if used properly.

    You did a great job for your 1st time! I was a teenager when I begged my Grandma to hot comb my hair and she tore my scalp up 😂 My Dad was upset because he thought it messed up my long curly/wavy hair, but you couldn't tell me nothing afterwards 😄 Now I love my Vanity Planet vibrating flat iron, no more hot combs for me 🤭

I'm now 42yrs old still use it and used it on my daughter as a child she's now 18yrs old. My hair is 4b/4c a little dax and my hot comb it looks like I had a relaxer lol🤷🙅😎

    My first time on your channel. Your accent is beautiful. My mom used to accidentally burn my ears when I was young using straightening combs but the one that you put on a stove. I used to cry. Lol. I do use a hot comb on my wigs to flatten the top especially when I first make them. I will try on my real hair once I wear my hair out. Great video. Oh, your eyes are so pretty! 😍

    Tfs ur talent with us. My grandma use it on the stove in 1947 on my mom's hair and we still use it on the stove today
    Dbl sided mean a root straightner. I have both pressing combs. I use pressing oil as heat protection. It adds shine/gloss. U need to use the back of the pressing comb to hit that root.. Btw don't forget to season the pressing comb on the stove before u use it... just a tip...

  • @Kat_Beezy

    I just bought an electric hot comb…. I love the old school presses! I’d rather much prefer the pressing comb than the flat iron!

    She didn't do it right it's not straightening because it's the back of the comb that used to straighten. And I'm not sure about electrical hot combs but ik the old school ones are the best.
