    I really like the two tone finish on the body as well as the interior. What clear coat are you using here?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  3 года назад

      The clear is Mr Hobby Super Clear Gloss. I haven't started in with the 2k yet but it is something I am considering.

    Great one 👍I like this wagon and would also like to build it one day 😊 Could you tell me, what you have used for remove the chrome paint?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  Год назад +1

      I have always been a big fan of wagons. For the chrome, I used just regular bleach to strip. Works pretty quick and washes easy.

    • @enso_scale
      @enso_scale Год назад

      @@ScaleAutoGarage Thanks. Need to buy me some bleach 😄I tried several household products, but none of them removed the paint such easy and nearly 100% as in your video.

    Wow great build 👍👍 respect . But i have a question -> how do you decrome ?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words. In this video I removed the chrome using bleach. I know there are other methods as well such as oven cleaner, purple power and brake cleaner but I happen to have a lot of bleach on hand and it does a pretty good job. Thanks for watching.

    Very nice want to get this accord kit eather white one ur doing in this or black one both aoshima i believe

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  3 года назад +1

      Yeah aoshima is the only one who does this estate but there are several versions including a stock version. This was was good because it came with 2 sets of suspension and brakes. Stock ones and the custom lowered set I used in this build. It really is a great kit.

    Is the base color black?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  2 года назад

      I totally cheated on this one. The plastic was black and then I sprayed the grey Tamiya primer and I liked the color so much I decided to just keep it so I glossed over the primer. So no actual base color other than the grey primer.

    • @TheMrTakeo
      @TheMrTakeo 2 года назад +1

      @@ScaleAutoGarage thx, i understand you, but one of the sellers said that the car has a base color like gray plastic, in the same box. (i'm from russia sorry for my eng)

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  2 года назад

      @@TheMrTakeo ah, I see. This car has been released many times and it is possible it has been done in different color plastic before. There are also several different versions with different bumpers, side skirts and wheels so it is also possible the one you are looking at has a different color plastic but maybe the same body.
