That steak is way passed medium. Should have pulled it off at 135. It was still cooking while putting the gold leaf on. ALWAYS let the steak sit a minute or 2 after you pull it from the grill. Thanks for the info on finding the leaf on amazon
Great video- but it KILLED me that you cooked a prime grade tomahawk to medium well- leave it at 135- let the natural flavors shine, brother. Keep up the good work! 👍

You overcooked it which is why it isn't very juicy. You had to push down with all of your might to see any juice. You'll see a juicy steak immediately during the first cut.
Isn't overcooked is medium-well is the way I like the tomahawk, and as you can see is very juicy so is not overcooked, and about the gold leaf, that size is the one I found in my city, I'd love to cover the steak with one big leaf, but you got to it with what you got...
Can you believe people spend $300 or $600 at Restaurants for this stake? When you can Pay $50 for the Tomahawk Steak & $11 for the Gold Foal. It doesn't even enhance the taste. Love the vid tho.
Waste of dam money for people who clearly can afford to spend that much money and now I see the gold tastes like nothing and is for effect well I wonder what people think after they have bought one of these steaks in bae's restaurant!
@@mattouellet6017 Wow, you guys must make a lot of money over there. You can pick them up where I am, which is Baltimore Maryland for under $12 lb.. That's a choice cut. You can get prime for under $16

Not really, it’s only garnishing

Looks little over cooked no?
Do we shit gold after eating gold.. 🤔
Not at all
Well you do shit the amount you ate, which would probably be less than a pinch of sand.
fine way to expose that turkish impostor.
I never understood having gold on a steak or burger.
You should have cut it like salt bea does

147? Way to cooked for a tomahawk. 127 to 135

Get this, pack of smoked 20$, tin of chew close to $50! All because of the socialized health care system.
Overcooked, burnt pepper, burnt garlic powder
Medium rare would be good
The meat looks over cooked

What a way to waste a tomohawk by overcooking it

Terrible cooking, overcooked and bad cutting. Over glazed as well. Used the worst type of gold too, 24k sheets is what you need.
Ok mr fancy pants
Gold! What a brilliant use of the earth's finite resouces. At least this metal isn't in high demand for other things.
Chill out
I like everything except the medium well. Once I heard that, I stopped watching
I like my steaks at 137*
24k gold sheets vs 23.75k REAL gold sheets are different. Your sheets is NOT real gold. That's why its so cheap.
What a waste of a steak. Overcooked
Steak is dead
How embarrassing.
