  • My wife is new to the US. She has only been here around two months so she is still a bit in culture shock. So, to help her with getting used to being here in California and around others, we decided to start documenting her experiences. She wants to help other filipinas like herself who immigrate to the US with the transition of being in a new country with an American husband. We hope you all enjoy a bit of the places we went. It is in Ilocano, our native dialect fir now and hopefully later get to doing it in English. Take care, and enjoy!

Nice footage of the trains you got on film. I noticed that the train which appeared at around 16:09 in the video would be either the August 7th and August 8th edition of Metrolink 859.

Yes thomas, actually it was the august 8. They have a good deal on weekends at metrolink when it is $10 the whole day round trip tickets. Even kids ride free on weekends according to their ads on the train.

I also live in So Cal and my fiancé and I are putting together our K1 packet now and will send by end of September. How long did yours take to process and get approved?

Hey mugshot, so we didn’t actually do the K1 visa. My wife and I married and I petitioned her via the CR1 visa. The timeframe used to be 4-8 months depending on how quickly the forms and documents are put together and submitted. But since we filed during March of 2020, Covid-19 lockdowns happened and delayed our timeframe a year and a half. To answer your question: your K1 should take the regular timeframe that the US national visa website states. Just keep looking on their website for any new updates on processing times. Sorry, I couldn’t be any more help. Good luck to you and your fiance.
