Even the Mitchell professional service manual had the wrong spec for an intake manifold torque. It listed two torque values and there were comments about the wrong torque value because someone twisted off bolts. I'm glad I looked in rethought the torque because I thought it felt too much for that intake manifold. Live and learn man. I definitely made enough mistakes in the past with breaking bolts and stripping threads. The biggest advice I have to give is doublethink torque values. Evaluate the size of both in the amount of torque you're going to be putting through it. Sometimes what I do is tighten with a wrench a bit at a time. It becomes natural overtime. If I'm torquing I'll take the torque wrench up at small increments. Make sure you have a decent torque wrench. Don't need a snap on but some cheap ones will break a bolt before clicking.

Yeah I felt like it was too much but I'm also not used to working on aluminum heads. I mostly worked on old Hondas. Now I know.
