Wow, in 3D mode this upgraded heli really flies great! The new rotorhead is a big, big improvement! I love these big and smooth loops you were flying in this crazy wind. Nice machine for scale helicopter lovers that want to some crazy stuff and fast flying with nice bank angles. Great video!
Hi Ali, yesterday I fley my huey - startet after green light - proceed with sticks to flashing green LEDs - starting smooth in GPS and prompt the copter was out of control! I switched immediately to ATT and that safed my Huey. This was happend exactly the same way when I had my first crash. Bute no safenet with ATT option, just 3D - and I didn`t expect and could handle it. So I strongly recommend everybody to programm ATT so in case GPS get lost, you can rescue your model and avoid severe injuries. By the way, I landed immetiately, turned everything aout, start again and all worked fine!

I love that chopper and look forward to get it soon. I just bought the F09, F09-S and F09-H to learn on. Once I’m good, I’ll by the Huey. I love the Huey out of all of the helicopters. My dad used to fly them in Vietnam in the middle 60s. I only wish this Huey came with lights, which I have a feeling they will add in the future. As always, your flying and presentation is incredible. 👍🏼
Yes you have to perform a Pitch settings process. every time you make changes to RC helicopters rotors, you must re do the pitches settings using Assist program Watch the complete setup: ruclips.net/video/JbTEYCi1W4M/видео.html
Hi Ali. You are so correct: full-size Huey cannot do what did on the video 😊. You spoke to all the modes during your. Please speak more to the most incredible feature of software update “2.0”: “Altitude Recovery”. This feature, if it works properly, will save so many crashes. Let’s hear more about it…? Thanks, “Huey Steve”, Phoenix, AZ
Hey buddy, yes you can activate that feature but for this heli i recommend people to replace 3d mode with ATT mode or at least with 6G mode. 3d is not recommended for this heli unless you wanna pull some basic aerobatics like i shown in this video. and yes if alt recovery is available in list it will work
Thank you for yet another comprehensive vlog on this FlyWing heli. Will this new head be compatible with the Bell 206 V3 and will it add similar improvement to the 206 performance? Please?
Ali, thanks again! 😊😊 By the way I tried to find the video where you described how to adapt the new head/ blades with the pitchsettings from the software. Where is it gone?i😮
Hi Ali, first off i love your videos. I have a question to this upgrade, maybe you can help me: I have done the rotor upgrade on my Bell V3 but with the new blades helicopter wont take off (GPS Mode, it spools up and when i give pitch it´s getting light on the skids but it doesn´t left the ground and take off), when i switch to the old head and blades everything is fine? I thougt in case of the asymetrical shape of the new blades maybe there is some pitch or headspeed adjustment needed? With just changing the hardware it wont fly in my case 😞 P.S.: I´m really sure i did the mounting correct. Did you change any settings after install? Thank you
after changing the main rotor head to this one, you need to connect your helicopter to assist program and make pitch adjustments again. make sure center stick is 0, and set positive and negative to 9 or 11. then it will work well. in Any helicopter when you change rotor head, you have to re do the pitch settings on rotors
Fly it like you Stole...lol Cool vid dude. Made a big difference flys great dude. Peace and love. From Daz and my dog Max in the East Coast of the UK. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Hello, i have a technical question : for your witch is the best main rotor drive ? System with belt and aluminium wheel like on fw450 V2 or direct Drive like on Huey or Bell 206 ? Cause i want to buy one but Can t choose....thanks again for your vidéos 😊
In this case of not being able to fold the blades, it is better to keep the previous version even though the changes were not so excellent and the previous version has a very acceptable level of comfort and stability for riding. What do you think?
well this one has a lot of improvement, but only draw back is folding the blades. maybe now we need a quick attach detach assembly for main rotor like FW450 V3 has
How can you fly in 3D mode with the stock Flysky transmitter with spring return? If the pitch stick is in the middle, the helicopter sinks a lot because it is not hoverpitch.
@@alishanmao That's clear, but you always have to push against the force of the spring. Do you use the Flysky remote control or a remote control without a spring on the pitch stick?
@@remotecontrolledmedia its exactly like ali said. I only fly my 450V3 in 3d mode and you push against the spring. Its something you have to get used to OR you can bind it and set it up using a Radiomaster radio. Ali has many GREAT videos showing how to do this. He is the best at radio set up for these machines.
@@remotecontrolledmedia for review purposes i use flysky spring loaded one, for my own personal flying i use non spring loaded, TX16S Max edition radio
If folding blades is essential (transportation) is it difficult - or not advised - to remove the secondary blade grip screw to then allow folding both blades?
I'm still unsure whether to buy this helicopter because I'm seeing some videos that supposedly show manufacturing flaws, and as it's an expensive product, including the exorbitant import tax, it might not be worth it. What do you think?

Answer FW -support: You can conduct flight tests first, and if the flight is unstable, then adjust the parameters. Question to FW-support: "That is a ZERO answer.Sorry, very disappointing!! Why FW brought out this mainrotor upgrade package - whats the idea behind it?" Answer FW -support: Some people hope to get all metal rotors and more realistic blades.😮😂😢
Man I do not know. these supports from Chinese companies has always been unsatisfactory. If you ask me, I would say any helicopter if you ever change main rotor head, you have to test and adjust the pitches before flight. test and then adjust? is the invitation to disaster. I hope you will adjust first and then test :) trust me, it will save you lots of headaches and costs
