    I see a lot of videos but I don't see a speed I'm a big boy I would like to know if I'm pushing it to fast I can't get that snap hook I see every do unless I drop it on the lane.

    I bought the Harsh Reality over this one and I probably made a mistake this ball looks nasty!

      I think the Harsh is a bit better for folks who play straighter, it does look pretty cool not gonna lie. With as much as I end up having to curve it at regionals the Extreme just fits that mold (and my eye) a bit better though.

    Think you should show low rev players on these reviews

      I love Lukes knowledge and would watch his vids even if he only showed himsef throwing left handed but I do agree w you. Angel was perfect for the low rev players to watch. Shame she hasn't been on much since Lukes no longer SPI staff. Love the cross brand reviews now though.

      This wasn't a ball we got to review, this was one James just decided to drill so we got video for it. PLENTY of Angel videos coming soon though, she's been a hot request recently so trying to get her back in the mix. Just hasn't been much lately that she wanted to drill since we have so many balls laying around that she doesn't get to throw already.

    Wow... he seemingly had the whole right side of the lane.. well, almost -- he left the 2-4-8-10 as I wrote this.. 🤣🤣

      LOL, yeah when I got further inside I couldn't miss steep right AND a bit quick which is what happened on that shot. As long as I was close with speed I could get it back from some pretty impressive angles considering how much traction the ball provides!

    I have this ball and was looking forward to the review. But I can't tell where his feet are because the camera is too high and he stops 18 inches from the foul line. Come on... Who thinks the ceiling is more important than the floor?

    hey this might bwe a weird question, but I know you reply to a lot of your comments. I have noticed my pap has changed recently as I have been throwing the ball faster and with better technique. so much so that my strong balls now have a short pin layout and my weakest has almost a strong pin. Also, I have been leaving a lot of flat 10s and if I stand left during transition by even just 1 board, my balls do not have any continuation, even my VEBO. I went to my pro shop to talk about layouts today and he wanted to get my exponent to a 2 or 2 1/2 pin layout. I thought that that was weird cause I have seen videos like chris vias where his xponent is a 5-5-2. I asked him why not put a longer layout on solids, that way you can surface it or do whatever to make it react differently, but he was insisting that a 2 -2 1/2 inch was better. I thought this was kinda weird, but I am also newer to bowling so I am not 100 percent sure. I have heard watched the storm pin videos and so I don't think I fully agree with my pro shop on this. what do you think. PS, I am a two handed righty that throws it about 17 mph on release and I put a good amount of revs on it too. My alleys layout is always a longer pattern with low oil, this month its 46 ft and 20 mL, so that might be a reason as to why he puits that on there. I would appreciate any help you can give me and I love your videos by the way. thx

      I personally struggled with getting a short pin ball to work during transition as well. You could try putting surface on the ball but low volume could be an issue. Plugging and re-drilling might be a good option to try to get the balls to retain more rotation down lane.

      @@Fluffyguy958 yea I'm kinda lost on what to do. There's a better pro shop about 45 min away from me that I go to sometimes, but his hours aren't the best. I just didn't understand why the guy near me wanted a shorter pin

    • @LukeRosdahl
      @LukeRosdahl  4 месяца назад +1

      Shorter pins definitely CAN be helpful to two handers to control the ball, and especially if you're rev dominant, it'll be helpful for control vs having to fight a more dynamic reaction, but that being said, I've always found that just going with urethane is better than a short pin most of the time, because you're just trying to tame down a ball that wants to be reactive with a layout, so I've really only seen inconsistency out of short pins personally.
      If short pins were so great, you'd see the pros using them. You see a lot of pin up vs pin down layouts OR urethane on tour, short pins are very rarely used, and if they are, it's for an extremely specific purpose and situation.

    • @Fluffyguy958
      @Fluffyguy958 4 месяца назад +1

      @LukeRosdahl I know guys like Mikey Pinel likes his short pin layouts with a bunch of surface but I agree, it was just such a small window to use short pins it made them effectively useless for me. I'd rather have my high end balls with strong cover have a more common usable layout. Plus like the original commenter said low volume plus long oil with a short pin probably just makes it puke down lane

      @ibrahimmasood1995 4 месяца назад +1

      @@LukeRosdahl Thank you for the reply. Thats what I have been noticing too, when I throw my friends urethanes for fun, it has way more continuation than any of my balls. I also remember seeing TV bowling supplies video recently and they basically talked about the same thing.
