The tech is super cool and I actually want a pair... But man, people outright refused to wear nearly free lightweight plastic glasses while relaxing at home for a few hours. I don't think the majority of people will lay out lots of money for heavier glasses that are way more expensive any time soon. Especially not in under 4 years now. Eventually, someday, perhaps it will be a large segment though, especially if it is shrunk enough to be at close to weight/size parity with standard prescription glasses.
I'm curious if you have trues nreal glasses and can compare what the binocular view is like in the shield although I know currently it's on green and not full color!
Great video Andy. Thanks Regarding the Ultralight, CEO Travers mentioned that they had two displays but I’ve seen and heard conflicting reports. Is that an option or was it a misstatement in the interview?
@@apeacock ruclips.net/video/iTUAW5DfZdE/видео.html Here is the video that I was referring to. How could Paul be confused about his new Ultralight glasses? It looks like he is pointing at the two displays on the Ultralight. Could the platform be configurable with a binocular display?
@@Yodel2024 very interesting. Here is right off the website. “Advanced monocular waveguide optics, combined with our custom micro display engine, create a crisp, transparent image “. Maybe they can be configured for two projectors. I’ll run it up to my contacts there and get a real answer. Thanks.
It would be nice if the Ultralight also had a microphone and speaker for calls. It’s probably a trade off for having fashionable AR glasses. Is it possible to be paired to AirPods while being paired to the Ultralight so that you can receive calls on your AirPods while navigating?
Hello Andy. I appreciate you so much. Please continue to keep us up-dated on the continuing developments about the Vuzix Shields.
Will do! Thanks
Thanx for making the video(s)! i cannot wait for the Ultralight to hit the market !
Andy we need to more about both the Shield and Ultralite! Good work! 👍

Just confirmed, the Ultralite's are monocular
Wow Paul was totally confused. It also appeared that the glasses he held in that TechStation video had two displays. Thanks for checking Andy.
