Hello, i really like this MOC , great job, very realistic! Will you publish the list of parts and eventually the instructions? I would really want to build it! :-)
I am impressed with your model and wish to ask few questions about whole construction, because I am building same MAZ 537, but more Technic than Model Team. 1. You have only one L Motor for driving and Servo for steering I guess. Isn't too less for so heavy model (over 3kg)? I planning to use 2-4 XL motors, which could be difficult to hide in chassis, but I consider semitrailer with tank, so it may be needed. Do you think 2 XL motors is enough? 2. How you had build rear suspension with so long distance between axles for those wheels 3. I like your fake engine inside cabin. Could you show any photos or references? Cheers and goodluck with next models
Hi, I'm glad that You like my model, I wonder how Your "technic" version will look like? :) Concerning Your questions: 1) Because my idea was to build more MT than Technic, traction was not so important, additional drive train in my truck is very weak - on each wheel there is half z12/half z12 90 degree reduction, if I would put there 1 or 2 XL motors it would crash soon. From the other side - when I check scale according to size of these tyres, I have realised that width of whole truck is only 23 studs, additional front wheels has independent suspension, so there wasn't any space to fit XL motors... If You have enough space and want to put more performance outdoor go ahead with 2 XL motors :) 2) It's suspended on 15L liftarm which is conected at the top to each wheel swingarm 3) here You can fnd more photos of "Work in Progress" proces: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=575097 I wish You a luck with Your project!
In general because of design of drive train in this model - a bit complex and not so robust. But luckly there are new wheel reduction hubs from Crawler 42099 so the plan is to rebuild this model and get possibility to climb some obstacles :)
Отличная деталировка
Thanks, I'm glad that You like it!
Here's new, upgraded version: ruclips.net/video/pPknLd2PGMM/видео.html

I can finally confirm that instruction for new Control+ verison is available here: reb.li/m/105362
Cool truck! Good work, just amazing bodywork and interior!
really nice truck, but only 1 L motor for power?
The goal was to built this truck as realistic as possible, driving behavior was not that important in this case :)
Now You can find upgraded model with 2 x PF XL motor onboard on my new channel: ruclips.net/video/pPknLd2PGMM/видео.html
Great model!
Everything is awesome, except the soundtrack...

Hi, if You are still interested about details of this boild You can find instruction for new Control+ version here: reb.li/m/105362
@@grzegorzkurkowski I will be building MAZ still, maybe with Control+ this time, but now I have plane on desk. Instruction is also great idea.
Music ?
Wow, it is really beautiful! Very nice design of the "fifth" wheel - trailer hitch - can it be locked?
Thanks, I'm glad that You like it.
The idea of taht model was to build it more as Model Team than Technic, so hitch looks nice but can't be locked.
Incredible truck!
