Hi Lee! I know that you've visited there and always enjoy seeing how you use them!! Wow, if the staff in TSL hear your story, they will absolutely be happy and proud of themselves. I can't wait to have my customized TN, but in the meantime hope you post your precious TN many times ;) Thank you Lee for watching the video!
I adored this vlog! ありがと Lisa 💖🤗 I'm so glad you were able to take 4 days off and enjoy some much deserved alone time 😊 I have wanted to go to Kurashiki for a long time, so it was really enjoyable to see the city from your perspective. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous 😍 I was surprised that you flew there. I never knew that was possible. I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to domestic flying in Japan. I always think of the shinkansen when travelling longer distances in Japan. How long was the flight from Tokyo? ✈️
Hi Danni! Thank you for your kind words as always!! Kurashiki is not so famous, especially for travelers from overseas, but it's really worth visiting if you have ever considered taking a trip. Few people mentioned it, but there is a museum called "Chichukai Museum (地中海美術館)," which has a collaborated traveler's notebook and other accessories and I was supposed to visit when I was in Kurashiki because I guess it's accessible, like 30-40 min from there. But making a reservation well in advance was necessary, so I gave up this time. For domestic travel, you can fly to Okayama from Haneda, Tokyo! It takes approximately one hour 15-20 min. to get there. (plus 30-60 minutes for the security check and etc., etc. before boarding) Then, you need to take a bus from Okayama Airport to Kurashiki/Okayama station, which takes about 35-40 minutes. (But there were not many buses on that route.) I personally don't want to take a bullet train, which takes more than 3 hours, so it depends on which one is comfortable for you, but I guess many travelers use the Shinkansen when it comes to domestic travel, as you mentioned! Anyway, hope you can visit there next time you travel to Japan!!!
I know, but since I live in Japan, they told me it took a month, but if you are a traveler from overseas, it might be a different story. Sorry, it's not a sure thing, but it depends I guess.
I visited in January and it was magical! The TSL customized TN is so dear to me because it holds all the memories from Kurashiki ❤
