Thank you for mentioning the leather treatment, I am buying the 3 finger mittens and never thought about needing to treat them..

Very nice video, as always. I bought the Fall Line lobster gloves on sale out of curiosity as I was getting cold in my cheap REI mitts. Very plushy but was not satisfied with the liner and the fit was a bit tight. The fleece liner looks about the same as the one you showed. Purchased Hestra Wool Expedition Mitts, each mitt is about 3.5oz in size 11 I believe. Very roomy, probably should have gone a size or two smaller. So I think they will be perfect with some liners. I saw a video of a Sherpa wearing wool mitts as he was ascending the Hillary Step, so hopefully these are warm. For water proofing I may add Black Diamond Over Mitts or something.

love the content Alta. Have you experimented with the heli mitts or even lobsters? I’ve just about given up on gloves in any serious cold conditions

I havent, though I should. However, I am testing another solution tonight. I will report on it soon.

I don't believe those wool liners are meant for the gloves, they are meant for the mittens.
