@@bobcieslinski Absolutely true! In a period of about 18 months the fledgling LOVEBITES wrote and recorded the revered “E Songs” - Edge of the World on their debut album “Awakening from Abyss” and Epilogue and Empty Daydream from “Clockwork Immortality”. Each one a masterpiece and all three performed live on their debut DVD “Daughters of the Dawn”.
Miyako on piano with Asami's vocals and Midori's weeping guitar how does it get any better? Easy Miyako doing her great Gary Moore (one of her favorite influences) rendition on guitar. Ice Queen......LMAO, there was more emotion and feeling during that solo than someone jumping around all over a stage playing guitar. Lovebites, and only them, can transition from one type of music into another without any effort and do it flawlessly. Speaking Gary Moore as an influence ... there needs to be a meeting of Miyako and Tommy Johansson (look him up on RUclips if you're not familiar). Tommy's another great composer/arranger.
The "E" songs are their ballads, or in this case , partial ballad. The other 2, "Empty Daydream" and "Epilogue" are both on the 2nd album, both played live in Tokyo 2019. Love songs that use a slow build, especially when they finish strong like this. Another reactor I watch was at their show in Dallas last night, he said they are just as good in person as their live videos make them look.
Great reaction Bob. Hope you are well. Miyako’s guitar solo in the early section is one of my favourites. There’s so much soul in it. I’m always happy when you point out Haruna. She is a gem of a player.
Good reaction. This song is from the album “Awakening from Abbys” from 2017. There are several live versions on RUclips. For me the best live version is from their concert “Five of a Kind” from 2020. This is one of the four "E" songs (songs that started with an E). While a bit more rocking than Epilogue, it still demonstrates the ballad ability of the group, and certainly is different from their usual heavy metal approach. It's not a new song per se but a new recording of an older song which appeared back in 2017 album Awakening from Abyss. My guess they put the clock sound to give a slight hint of the up coming album after Awakening to Clockwork Immortality on this album they utilized the clock sound quite a bit. New video of one of their many masterpieces. Miyako is a 💯 verified virtuoso pianist, and I agree a virtuoso guitarist too, I also think that Midori is a genuine virtuoso guitarist, to be honest, everyone in this band is at the highest level in what they do, Miyako is a bit special though, but I think Fami is following the same path which is a good thing 🤘🎤🎸🎹🥁🐺
Another interesting and informative reaction. I don't think I've seen a reaction to Soldier Stands solitarily. I can only advise you to hold on to your headphones when you do that one! Gotta love Haruna. What a woman!!
A Lovebites classic (sound-wise I prefer the 2020 live recording though). Every time I listen to this masterpiece, I say to myself "I only want to hear Miyako's beautiful solo", but of course then I must listen to the whole song, because it's a masterpiece. Rock anthems like this one have been written and performed in the eighties, but not ever after. Which is just another proof to my theory that Lovebites has come to us to save music from getting boring.
When I was a child, I took piano lessons for a little while, and I also briefly learned singing and choir. But I enjoyed playing outside and doing crafts more, so by the time I was ten, I quit both piano and choir. Now, I absolutely love listening to your professional music analysis. I think it’s because I had some basic music education that I can really understand your explanations. I’m grateful to my parents for exposing me to music at a young age, and I sometimes wonder what things would be like if I had continued with piano. Please keep up your amazing song analyses. Thank you! ❤
Herb you made my day buddy. Thank you so much for the kind words. It was great that your parents got you involved. If you ever feel like getting back into anything there are always local community groups for you to get involved with musically.
My personal nominee for "Top 10 greatest Metal songs of all time". Musically, as well as in terms of its *lyrics* . Urgently needed, timeless. Like Iron Maiden's "Paschendale". DE/GER

Thanks for the insightful comments. I loved them.
World class all of them.
LOVEBITES❤️🔥MAJESTICS
Gracias por la exelente reacción y análisis🤟🏻🐺
Thank you!
数あるリアクターで、貴方が一番の理解者だと思います。
Oh man you made my day. Thank you so much! Have an awesome day!
Another interesting and informative reaction. I don't think I've seen a reaction to Soldier Stands solitarily. I can only advise you to hold on to your headphones when you do that one! Gotta love Haruna. What a woman!!
Hey Ian I just recorded from a suggestion from one of our channel members Guy Gourley.
Lovebites . . .🤘🏻🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🏻
You might be right.
Bob, didi you watch Mi-Ya's 3 part video where she demonstrated her methodology in compositing her songs?
Yeah she’s really something. It was informative for sure.
Still at the tip of the iceberg a lot of great song out there best band out
Yes there is so much to get to. World class musicians in this group.
Fami rips right through this song , she is unreal also
She sure is.
Midori💚💚💚💚💚
It started out well with the piano then went quickly into all the other others music out there kind of a jumble.
The piano was pretty sweet.
please react to any song from epic the musical 🙏🙏
pleasee -a flutist you had last year
Hey Lunatic! Nice to hear from you! Send me a link if you can so I get the right one.
i can’t send links but it’s on jorge rivera-herrans youtube page,
My personal nominee for "Top 10 greatest Metal songs of all time". Musically, as well as in terms of its *lyrics* . Urgently needed, timeless. Like Iron Maiden's "Paschendale". DE/GER
