- The most popular movies of all time create the highest-grossing movie franchises. Almost every film franchise was represented in the data visualization (list below). The first was Alice in Wonderland (1933), which had virtually no box office because it was considered "ahead of its time," and the last was Black Panther (2018). So these are the most popular movie franchises according to the box office.
Note: Keep in mind that I experimented a lot with this video. With both visuals and audio. Your feedback is always welcome. Please let me know what you think!

-I collect data from the-numbers.com for each movie individually.
-Later, I compile and check all the downloaded data in an excel file.
-I use Flourish Studio to generate the visualization using that completed file.
-The visualization is then enhanced with music and video resources using Wondershare Filmora to produce the finished product, which is the uploaded video you see above.

Wow incredible how long 007 held it’s no.1 spot. But My brain was like. “How about HP? That was my childhood and so populair” it shows😂but Marvel holy fuck!!! I never new Star Wars is bigger than HP!! Then again it started in the seventies?? I guess.
Great video! I didn't realize James Bond carried the #1 spot for that super long. I wish Lord of the Rings did a bit better, and that Star Wars kept it's momentum. Marvel/MCU is pretty cool but I hope it doesn't continue to dominate that hard. Also, QUICK QUESTION: You list The Avengers as its own bar. That is confusing because The Avengers should be part of the MCU. Is their money included in the MCU bar? Also the Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland are officially in MCU. Does the MCU bar get any money from those movies?
Thank you for your comment! Both the Avengers and new Spider-Man movies are included in the MCU bar! However, while a part of the MCU bar, the avengers has its own bar to demonstrate its box office separately

It's bad now. It was pretty darn cool at the beginning with the first Ironman movie. After Avengers Endgame the whole series is done. Everything made since then is just really bad.
