- The Kenya Air Force One or Harambee One is the official aircraft \ jet that carries the president of the Republic of Kenya. But not all the time does the head of state fly in his jet.

Great video, the Fokker is a workhorse in the industry.
However, being an aviation enthusiast and having tracked many of KAF308 flights, here are my observations on your content: -
- It's callsign is assigned based on the nature of the mission. It's "Harambe1" on all local flights and "Kenya01" on all international flights.
- With the extra fuel tanks at the back, it has a flight endurance of up to 6hrs, but it's rarely pushed to that limit. Mostly it's 5.5hrs.
- The recent trip to China was done through Emirates on the outbound leg and a private jet on the inbound leg. At that time KAF308 did not record any flights (including the many training flights conducted weekly by the KAF).

President Ruto should upgrade the official presidential jet to a Dassault Falcon,Bombadier Global 7500 or a Cessna Citation X.
The current Fokker is very old and a safety risk and is also outdated since the Fokker company is already defunct.
Or even consider a BBJ like the one used by RSA. It will be easy to negotiate maintenance terms with Boeing combined with KQ fleet.

Uhuru used to fly KQ as a chartered flight. The cost was too high as compared to owning a private jet.
Upgrade or crash in it?
@pmgichiri Uhuru chartered very few times. Most times, he boarded it as just a first class passanger. I covered his foreign trips in Europe, US and Asia and most atimes we used the same commercial plane from Dubai. So he would fly in Kenya 01 to Dubai and join us commercially from Dubai.
I think Harambe 1 sounds better and original than Kenya Airforce 1

Old reliable. Fokker 70 last flew commercially in the 1990s and early 2000s. It’s about time to get a new vehicle like the more fuel efficient airbus a321 neo but of course the money to fund such a plane isn’t available because it has all been stolen or misused.
