I love how the captain responds to her first captain with such respect.
Kudos to both pilots...
Love to see women as Professional Pilots !!!!!
Very inspiring, professional ladies! Was on several trips Liberia to Nairobi flown by Captain Koki Mutungi, the landings were smooth, she handled the aircraft like a baby. Keep it up!
Wow!! what a motherly comment she handled the aircraft like a baby
Oh yes , motherly comments indeed!
I am so proud of you captain ,you are the first female to become a pilot of commercial aircraft in Kenya.Georgia (USA)
Hello friend, are you still in Georgia?
If these two outstanding ladies were in charge of United Nations…. NOTHING WOULD BE WRONG IN THIS WORLD 🙏🏼🙂 I salute you both.
WELL SAID!!!!!
AMEN!
Good work my sisters..
its OK when everything is working-but when things start to go wrong-it will be a disaster
@@goldenboyi1989 disaster! Wow why would you say that? Are you saying they won’t be able to handle themselves if problems arise?
Proud of these ladies from KQ. Absolutely inspiring. Keep the African flag high.
Yes indeed... Kenya Airways, the Pride of Africa. Very warm flying with KQ. Always
i flew to ethiopia, south sudan car and singapore, i really liked the way those ladies treated us and especially me when it came to their impecable services. congrats ladies from jamhuri ya kenya.
She made aviation piloting look easy. Great women. You are inspirational with your work.
The captains father flew us twice from LHR-NBO back in 1989 in the Kenya Airways a310 back in 1989 and 1990. We were also invited to see the cockpit inflight. Great to see his daughter flying!
Nice
So basically it's hereditary.
Good to know she had a paternal role model who supported her. Now look at the results!
I also had an opportunity to be one of her father's students at East African School of Aviation in Nairobi. A humble man he is.
Did you catch them flying together to Hong Kong? I get goosebumps thinking about that. I am a fan of dads.
Proud of my Country.
In Kenya, good and excellent service come first. That the reason we are number one and the pacesetter in Africa and beyond 😉🏅😚
My people, we are the pride of Kenya
I think ETHIOPIAN is the best & the biggest .....
"we" Afrikans need to let go of this discussion 😄😄😄

I have anxiety about flying after a very turbulent flight returning from Jamaica back in 1994, and I haven't flown since then. I don't know why I am here watching this video with so much smiles. Blessings to you my beautiful sisters in Christ.
I am a frequent flier having used several different international airlines but KQ still stands out. The crew, food, hospitality is top notch. Congrats Kenyan ladies you put our country on the world map
Great video about a personable and professional crew who love their job.👍
Respect for these ladies!👏
One of the BEST walk arounds ive seen . Would love to see her progression through the ranks . Hopefully Just Planes will follow up .
Glad you enjoyed it Dave and yes we would be happy to return to Kenya in the future.
She is now a captain very intelligent woman she was an aéronautic engineer.

Those are our women. So proud of them. Keep going girls. You are great at this. All airlines should copy this.
You should be proud of them, they earned it. :)
Yes, All air companies should sack all male pilots and employ only women or only employ women from now on, to satisfy you guys.
Wow! Thanks for taking me along for the flight. I really enjoyed watching it. Those two pilots are amazing and anytime they are in San Francisco drinks are on me!!
My husband traveled with Kenya Airways while returning back to Canada he connected in Amsterdam with KLM. On his way to Africa he traveled with Canada Air and connected within Lufthansa to Kenya. His experience was Kenya Airways gave the best of service. Watching this wonderful ladies l have no doubt next time l travel l will definitely connect with Kenya Airways.
We love you kenya from ethiopia.
Loving this, watching from the Caribbean. Hi to all my Kenyan friends with whom I had the privilege to meet and work with in the UK. Your country looks great.
Good work well trained keep it up
It doesn't look great, it is Great. This is Africa
Many congratulations to the ladies. As a grand mom am so proud of them. I was once flown by the Captain from Nairobi to Dakar Senegal. A polite correction though Mwanza Tanzania isn’t a small town with most people doing fishing only, rather a city and buzzing commercial one. Otherwise Kudos Captain
It's a small city if u compare it to Nairobi. This is what she means
@@centi50s Mwanza is the second largest city in Tanzania after Dar es Salam.
I’ve been binging on these cockpit vids since I encountered this channel, and I must say that of all that I’ve seen thus far, this one is my favorite!! Watching these ladies do what they do is a pleasure, such professionalism💯
This is absolutely amazing... I hope I get the privilege and honor of being a passenger on there flight.....this has me in tears of joy..... Congratulations Queens
The captain and her father once flew us from Kenya to Thailand. She's very experienced pilot
That must have been captain Mwangi who used to work with her daughter.😄

This video is absolutely AWESOME! I Love that this is an all black female crew, and the Captain, just WOW! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story. I just wish it was longer.
For many years Captain Mutungi was the sole lady flying the 767 as the F/O,they had a sole lady engineer as well..Paula came from Air Kenya if am not wrong..she must have logged in thousands of hours flying no doubt..proud of the ladies
Yes she was now she is a captain.

Kenya people is very powerful and brave I really admire this pilot ur so amazing
Absolutely fascinating. These girls are so professional and knowledgeable. I honestly felt like I was in the flight as well. I also felt very safe flying with them. Well done Kenya Airways as the flight itself was one of the top of the range in aviation.
Professionalism at its very best and looking soooo easy. Making things look easy can only be done by people knowing what they do 'in their deepest sleep'.
Besides: so far the most informative RUclips flight report I saw, love it.
Thanks Kenya Airways for the privilege to be on board. Thank you Captain Koki Mutungi and First Officer and the entire crew for that amazing and most enjoyable flight. God bless ,keep you and enlarge your territories.

I'm sorry, in this day and age why are you amazed at females flying? Would you have made this somment if the officers were male?
@@rmm3803 Because only 3.5% of airline pilots are female ... are you really that simple?

@@Redridge07 Nope. Sexistsl lke you are surprised that women pilots could possibly be competent just because they're not men. My comment refers to all pilots, regardless of gender. There is no difference. They are all professional and the OP's comment is pointless in that context. Get a clue.
I am so proud of the captain and her first officer. What a team!!! Great flying. Lovely air hostesses. Here I am in my living room in Trinidad, West Indies aboard Kenya Airways 554. It felt great. Thanks again.
