Can anyone speak to the differences in content between the first and second editions of the book? Changes significant enough to justify purchase of the update?
I live in Thailand. The cost to ship a Bible or book is costly. The shipping averages about 33% , so I tend to purchase study Bibles instead of commentaries themselves. Book and Bible reviews really help me in my what to purchase. Thank you brother for your review.
I have that same book, and agree 100%, excellent commentary! (somewhere in there is a personal story of a miracle in the author's life that relates to a verse... I remember feeling like I found a hidden gem when I came across that part... look for that if you have found it yet!) God bless. ~dan
Bible Reviewer.....I just bought the same book, first edition and mine isn't even as nice as yours. I like the one you have. My cover is awful. It is all blue, like the blue on your book but it has a dust cover. I got it used for $10. plus tax so I can't complain. I still love it and think it's great for its commentary. I don't care much for maps but charts are nice.

Wow that much? This is definitely one of the best commentaries I have read on the Bible. I'm thinking about grabbing the second edition.
