- I visited a Korean folk village (민속촌) together with my son Jeremy who’s 7 years old, and we explored everything and learned about the traditional Korean way of life - all while speaking in Korean. (This video is not sponsored, and we paid for everything ourselves.) The place we visited is called 한국민속촌 (“Korean Folk Village”).

안녕하세요 from the road! doing a spot of traveling. Still getting a bit of study in as well as enjoying your classes and RUclips updates. Keep up the great work!
감사합니다
Thanks so much Glass Artist!! I'll also be traveling next month... in Korea again :D
Jeremy is such a cool & confident kid! You’re raising him so well. Thank you for sharing this with us, I adore this type of content.
I just want to say thank you so much. I’m almost to the end of your course for beginners. I write down everything in those videos. I’m usually shy but today I went to the international club at my college and I was able to have a conversation with some Korean students. They were really surprised and happy and we added each other on Instagram. Without you it wouldn’t have been possible. Thanks for helping me make connections with people I couldn’t otherwise ❤
That's great to hear!!
he is so funny and he totally has your nose and smile!
Jeremy is a RIOT! Love his energy and his whole vibe :-) I really want to visit this Korean folk village; I LOVE learning historical facts about places (like a museum) so the fact that this is a theme park of sorts built like Korea of the past... AWESOME!
My fam was just there for Chuseok! Such an amazing place. My daughter pushed that same mill wheel 😊 the crafts they had were sword decorating and nametag making.
Sword decorating sounds like fun! The hat kind of fell apart after this video, but I also didn't do a great job putting it together.
So fun to watch you and Jeromy. He seems like a joy to raise. Thanks again and I look forward to more from you two
He's so lovely. Like father like son❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
What a fun place!
안녕하세요 빌리 선생님! 안녕 제레미! 그 민속촌이 재미있는 것 같아요. 언젠가 제가 방문하고 싶어요.
this is such good listening and comprehension practice. ALSO fun video, jeremy is growing up so fast!
wow
. i am in busan now, so i can hear your accent match what i hear around, and i love it!!!😊 your son sooo cute
My family loved visiting this place! I took them when they came to visit me when I was studying in Daegu and they still talk about it 4 years later. It seems like it changed a lot because it didn't have rides or a convenience store when I went, so it'd be cool to visit again
Love these videos...simply everyday conversation very helpful...thanks
lol at the swinging at the end! 다음에 한국에 가면 저기에 가고 싶어요.
I went there with my friend who visited for tavel on chuseok :D it was really nice especially the performances at the evening
This was beyond cute. What an adorable kid!! My sons are older but he made me miss this age. ❤💜 감사합니다 !
Wow! He is growing so quickly! How wonderful to share times like this together!
I enjoyed the video and have now placed the location on my Go To Korea Bucket List
감사합니다!
Adorable vlog! ❤ He's such a cutie 😊
아들이 너무 귀여워요! Your son is really cute 😂!
감사합니다! :D
awww jealous hes so smart
This looks so fun!! I love these videos with your son!
Oh, I knew there were places like this, but I hadn't seen much of them before.
I think it'd be interesting to check it out. I really enjoyed this video. Jeremy is cute, he reminds me of my niece, she is just at the point where she thinks thst grabbing any recording device or phone, filming her self and making crazy, silly faces with it is the best thing in the whole world. 🤭
Maybe she'd like to visit a place like this someday too~
I thing I can learn Korean if I watch this video all day 😂
Teacher B ..can u please put me in your bag or take me instead of Jeremy? I promise I won’t ask for any food or drink and I will hold your camera as long as u want and won’t complain !!! 😂😂😂😂 I LOVE so much their folk villages! i wanna learn korean but i worry others will criticize me in real life because the way i love to speak/write korean is different. 😊😊 or should i not worry about what others think or say about my writing in korean and i should just express myself in korean how i wish??
Hey! Could you do a video on Newjeans? They have two australian members, I would love to see your take on them it would be helpful!❤
I wanna learn Korean language, but I’m around 40 and I don’t know if I could make it.
I've met people who started learning a language in their 50s/60s, you're never too old!
I'm 42 and started learning when I turned 40. You're never too old! Canadian RUclipsr Steve Kaufmann is 78 and speaks 20 languages, including Korean. You can do it :-)
40's no problem at all ;-) Go ahead!!
I started learning Korean when I was 50, so you're definitely not too old. I'm not very good yet (아직 잘 못해요) but it's really interesting and fun, so I'm motivated to keep going. Billy is a great teacher and good at making things clear and understandable. (Also very patient and encouraging!)
Go for it!...I started at 61
