if I don't hear "these ones" then it's not Laura....Just part of your charm...I thank you so much for your videos....You've really turned me on to gardening this summer like I have NEVER gardened before....Being new hear, I've had "Laura" marathons here at home!

  • @monicagmelendez

First, I love your videos! I enjoy that you show us not only your successes but your failures too. We all learn from it. Second, you mentioned "these ones" and how you were called out due to improper grammar. I just want to say, you do you. I look to you for gardening advice not English lessons. Please do not get hung up on people correcting you...they will always exist no matter how proper or improper you are. Be happy and carry on! I, personally, think you do an amazing job. :)

      Monica G Melendez
Monica I can't agree with you more! Just enjoy these videos people and keep your negativity to yourselves. She doesn't need 200 mothers telling her what and how much to lift and how much to drink and how out of breath she is for heavens sake she was walking around her entire garden and it 100 degrees outside anyone would be out of breath! I get so much inspiration from these vlogs I don't ever want them to stop 😁

Dexter adds massive value. 'The three of us', and he's coming forward 'You are forgetting me!' 'Of course, the four of us'. And the climbing on the roof trick. He's something how he contributes to your videos, making them even better.

I can only imagine how you are dealing with the high temps while pregnant. Please take care of yourself! You're getting winded while walking & talking! Dexter is going to be your protector, as he's following you everywhere. He wants to make surer you're not overdoing things! Much love to the 4 of you 🐱

One of my favorite garden videos. Had me try Russian sage for the 1st time and i always loved hydrangeas. Early on fan and we grew together as gardemers& she taught me so much. I became obsessed with flowers while I was pregnant and Laura had me hooked back in 2015. Now she has her own children and it's so precious to see them grow in that wonderful home they've made. ❤

What a wonderful whirlwind of excitement! Congratulations on your news and I am riveted, just can't wait to see how each new step of your future planning and your growing family unfolds. I giggled at "these ones" - we all do it, it's contagious! ❤ Thanks for all your time you put into these tours and all your videos. You're my favorite subscription - you even trump Netflix! I want you to continue doing videos until we're gray - into our 80's and 90's, but with life changes, just know that whatever shifts may come, I understand that family comes first, and I will try work on being content with less frequent videos and content from you, if you need it. Somehow, knowing your work ethic, I bet you will be much better at juggling than I am/was! Anyway, all the best to you and your husband! Hooray for new life!

How beautiful everything looks!!! I love the monthly Garden Tours so much. I'm so excited to see the raised garden area and love the picket fence idea. Here's an idea for what you can put in that area where you're going to do cut flowers: a playground swing set! Your son will love to have a place to run around and if you put in an adult seating area with a little picnic table for him and friends/siblings(!), you'll love to have a place to sit and watch him play when he's older. Although if you have a broad area of lawn that is shady, choose that area, given your temperatures.

It has gotten so suffocatingly HOT here in Central Texas, that I wait til nighttime to do a bit of planting in pots. On covered backporch, with fan going, and I still end up soaked. Ugh! Today it's supposed to be only a cool 96, LOL!

Great tour. Love it when you say "these ones". I say it to. Be you and don't pay any attention to those who are negative. Agree no boxes on the windows. Looks perfect just like it is. This really does show how pretty the Tut grass is.
The bed of Guara is so pretty. Probably on of my fav spots. I planted 10 of the bright pink ones this year and I'm loving them.
That would be an awesome area for test flowers and would allow you to plant favorite cut flowers to bring inside. Great idea.
Your gardens are amazing just like you are. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. My fav channel on RUclips.
Have a happy and Blessed week. Hope the sickness goes away soon.

Love seeing the transformation of your property. I've learned quite a bit, but have a lot to learn. We live in North Idaho and struggle with our soil, which really isn't soil, it's rocks, some huge! Planting trees takes a huge effort. All that too say, uninspired watching your videos. Thank you for what you provide too us.

Uuuuuu, I like those hydrangeas at the beginning of the video. I thought to myself: what a nice spot, and then you said you`re thinking of plating them, and I was: yes, yes, yes! Those flowers by the shed look spectacular and there`s no need to put anything on the windows. I would LOVE to see how you`ll prepare that earth for vegetable garden, because it looks horrible. I have similar problem and need to address it if I want to grow anything at all. Love the tour!

Our Russian Sage is now topping about 5 feet tall. I dont know if that is normal but yeah it took off . The wife and I keep it that tall because we love supporting the amount of bees that show up !!!!!

I think window baskets with an ALL WHITE BLOOMING combo would be so pretty!

You must dream in color! Everything and I mean everything looks beautiful...including you! I'm a tag along gardener. I tag along and watch what lovely creations you come up with.Having said that, I have been bitten, thanks to you by the gardening bug! I'm going to be planning during the winter months what I want to do. Thank you for enduring the heat, especially now, so we can see yours and Aaron's videos of your lovely combinations of flowers and box woods. :) L LOVE box woods!. I like the drone idea!

As always, your gardens are beautiful. And the lighting this time of evening is gorgeous. We could literally see the sun starting to set. Nice! I started to garden seriously when my children were 7 and 9. I wanted to have the best hide and seek gardens. So 20 years later, we finally have the best hide and seek gardens. Now just need some grandchildren :) So do keep hide and seek in mind. Thanks for the July tour!
