I spent eight years in college listening to lectures from great professors and you're at least their match in articulation and expression of instruction. It's strange, yet wonderful to hear what sounds like a gruff, gritty military grunt(no offence) explaining things like a seasoned presenter/speaker. I listen closely from start to finish, probably the best compliment I can make. Thank you for the help!!
Very humbling comments! I've been teaching and instructing people at work now for a decade and I suppose it has made me better at articulating objectives and giving instruction that benefits people. I'm so glad it's working for you(and others). Cheers!
I've been looking up Bannerlord 2 tutorials and guides for weeks, and this information has not been covered quite so comprehensively as it has here, if it's ever mentioned at all. Weeks! I didn't even know about giving fiefs to vassels. I'm just muddling along. There is a lot more going on in this game than first appears. Thank you for all of this info. Edit: That was an epic battle.
These are kinda old episodes at this point, but I remember narrating them still and I feel they are highly unwatched and guys are missing out. Oh well... You can lead a horse to water, but... GLAD You found them and appreciate all these vids! :) Cheers!
@HeadlessHorsemanProductions seriously epic battle. 😎 Horses are easy. Just give them a salty treat. It's the insane algorithm that's the problem. I'm just late to the party...
fantastic videos, thanks for sharing. have you talked elsewhere about the logic behind forming your groups/corps the way you do? would be interesting to hear. i dont think i ever have so many - normally only around 4-5.
Thank you, friend! I just finished another video of this given the large amount of requests I've had for greater detail here. It has been covered somewhat in a few videos, particularly on the playlists as 'intermediate tactic series(episode 1), but this newer video, which I may release early(today??), is a deeper dive here... I find eight to be optimal if you can manage them well.
Today! Loading now - just too many requests. It's a long video but extremely thorough and if it doesn't include what you want, just let me know. I'm a full-time firefighter and sometimes I have slow days where I can literally make videos while I get paid. :D @@HistoricalGameplay
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions thats great! wish i could do the same but im a teacher and work in and often out of school, unfortunately. no pressure re videos, ill go and watch whatever's already out there. btw, love your background music! very fitting. where are those tracks from? thanks;)
My family has a line of teachers in it, and I enjoy teaching, hence the channel, so thank you for your service! Most of the music is from the Epic History Soundtrack series found easily on youtube.@@HistoricalGameplay
Sort of! I actually lost that Legendary Rhomphalia at the battle he(Grygor) was killed in - the current polearm I am using was CRAFTED by Grygor's father - so the guy kinda lives on! )
Tac how do u manage ur fiefs .. like, are u making money from them ? With so many in the garrison, is it possible to make money from them or do u just make money from battles and selling off gear not needed? Are fiefs just there to store troops at a discounted price? Iv learnt a lot from ur tactical vids but I'm still not sure what to expect from a fiefs.
Certainly the majority of our money comes from battles. I literally have more loot than I can ever sell. Even in my biggest cities, where I can frequently net 250,000 gold by selling loot(all their gold), I still have never ending loot. Generally I have NEGATIVE daily income, though with mature cities my towns often yield enough money to support garrisons of 400+ and NOT lose money. Earlier in a campaign, more parsimony is required but in this extremely late-game campaign, I have virtually unlimited gold...
@HeadlessHorsemanProductions Great response bro much appreciated. Are you filling ur garrison or auto recruiting and setting a wage. Obviously, u can't fill it with 350 tier 4/5 troops as the cost would be to high, right ? Or you are and that contributing to ur negative daily income
@@russ1185 I like to keep a mix of tier 2 to 5 units in a keep, critical keeps maybe 400, sometimes as high as 600(!) in times of deep/insane war. Usually 25% tier 5 and 6 units so I can recover QUICKLY from a defeat, 50% tier 3 and 4 and then a host of tier 2 units from my FAVORITE lines, so battanian wood runners(future Wildlings), battanian highbourn youths(fians) and sturgian warriors(future veteran spearman).
When you said that 1400 may not be enough to defend I got some serious Theoden of Rohan vibes! LOL
“We will meet them nonetheless!”
Love it - who DOESN'T love a good underdogged battle against the odds?

how long does the early game take for you to get past?
I've done two campaigns to late stage and both were 4+ months of steady play, maybe 200+ hours?
