Hi update on the tunnels. The first 2 are under water and they are leaking more then they anticipated (through the temporary seals). Extra pumps are getting installed to pump them empty ;)
ALRIGHT...... if i dont see a eppisode where your in the Yukon imma be MAD haha Tony Beets is a idol of mine!! ik ill never meet the man (one could wish)
Greetings from Germany, i love your content soooooo much. You get to see projekts and machines from all over the world, just amazing to watch. Keep it up :D
Weirdly there's no info whatsoever online saying Tony has any siblings (that I can find), however this guy certainly looks like his brother and I don't expect Aaron to misinform us, so I don't know what to believe
the second I saw the Name Boskalis on the side of the ship I knew that tunnel was gonna be easy peazy work. As a Dutchmen Myself we are the kings of anything water related and Boskalis is at the helm. You should visit the Delta work museum if you ever get the change. I went there a Year back and it was amazing to learn more about the incredible work the Dutch have done, And the Delta works is for sure its crown jewel
I must say if it aint dutch it aint much. (Yes i am Dutch myself) Countries all over the world come to the Netherlands if they need help with watermanagement/flood defences, even the usa has asked for help many times.
I just want you to know Aaron that every Saturday you are what I used to be excited for as a kid. Cartoon Network Star Wars the clone wars was every Saturday morning. Now I look forward to your RUclips videos. Insanely awesome!
The counterweight on that 6015 weights as much as what I thought was a very large excavator owned by my grandfather an Ackerman H10M Swedish machine and must I say it is impressive to watch work
Great footage, as always. 😉 👍🏾😎 Hope there will be a part 3 from the german side, with all the new traintracks, new train stations etc. There is another tunnel construction going on from the german mainland to the island of Fehmarn. 😉Greetings from Berlin 🇩🇪
I am truly amazed here at this sized equipment... thinking that Australia had some dang big equipment.... just how big it gets is now my question... and I did just subscribe
Interesting to see the range of abilities as those dozers go over that edge. It'd be even more interesting to see what'd happen if you switched the base station off. I try and stay away from that button and just use the numbers as a guide. Amazing how many ops reply on gps/can't work without it. I was on a D61 a while back where due to a dodgy turbo sensor knocking the gps control out meant I had to hit the grade manually (whilst also in limp mode). Asked the engineer checking me how far off I was as I was setting out; one of my proudest operating moments when he looked up and said 2mm. He didn't believe I did it by eye until I showed him the gps control didn't work. Still cool af to see them lined up tho
I feel like you guys might be coming to Finland to check Hailuoto bridge being constructed in Oulu area. Significantly smaller project than this one though...
OMG What a Fucking video 🤯🤯🤯 Defo THE BEST of the 2!!! Can’t believe you kept us waiting so long for it!!! AND Tony Beets bro is top dog for that company is also crazy 🤪🤪😍 maybe it’s his son working for Tony now 🤷🏼♂️ ALSO Delighted my fellow Irishman is in the, I’ve been following him on the job with a year now!! so how you going to top these videos for 2025 🤔🤣
My concern is the potential of an Anchor Drag over the finished Tunnel. With the recent 4 Anchor Drags over Uncersea Cables within the Baltic Region. RUclips ⤵️ What's going on with Shipping / Sal just discussed the ongoing investigations.
@ great. Thanks Aaron. There is no disrespect….. just the opposite. I speak for the masses….. it’s such a cool channel, you travel all over the world to cool places, etc. So it seems like (as a fan), why go that distance, with all of the expense, your crew etc and make a short video. I know that editing takes a great deal of time, and thought. Any you want to upload as many as possible, get the views and subs etc . For those of us who travel a lot, and use heavy equipment, we want more. And a huge thumbs up for one main reason….. your background music I will tell you this….you are the only one who keeps the backing track very low in the mix, which is HUGE. We can hear what you are saying, clearly. And when you cut to machinery, that’s what we want to hear. This in and of itself was what first got me interested and addicted to this channel. The perfect balance. Keep going strong!!!
These big marine-land construction firms have been sitting idle for a bit or do 50% of what they capable of, so to see them warming up for big job and do what they do best is GREAT !!! They just are picking up more jobs in deepening the ports all over EU ...yes the stupid people in Brussels did welcome bigger ships...from 18 000 cont to 24 000 cont.....but forgot that most of the channels are not deep enough...but that is haw EU parliament works, they more interested what color bathroom walls on service stations should bee than a haw deep are the EU port channels.- in reality, and then the ship gets stuck and we are simply looking who to blame to get the $$$$$$$ on a law suite, nice. That is haw You get FREE money !!! and here You work hard in mud....can NOT compare one to the other. TH
wow, the whole Beets family are a bunch of celebrities huh, the photo opportunity was very cool. love this project
That’s what I thought lol. Of course that’s Tony’s brother
Blew my mind seeing Tony’s brother.

Hi update on the tunnels. The first 2 are under water and they are leaking more then they anticipated (through the temporary seals). Extra pumps are getting installed to pump them empty ;)
Tunnel installation is other contractor as the dredging works
Of course there're a lot of different companies building it. I just update everybody who's interested in the tunnels ;)
@@Damicske which elements went in?
@@wilfredprins9718 The first 2, don't know more then that.

When he first started talking about his brother, i knew it was tony beets because it was said.
Not surprised he was in construction also
You met a few Irish guys there, good operators….
5:20 Didn't even need to know his name to know that hes related to Tony Beets

hey you guys need to check out the active mine in lake Elsinore
Will they eventually be compacting the soil in the fill area?
they don't need to -- it's compact once the moisture's out of it
@ Thx. Cool project. One of the tunnels in Balt, MD. Was built in a similar fashion. Segments were built on land, floated out and submerged.
The crossover potential with Tony Beets...
The dutch are the best
Feels illegal to be this early
1500m from the southern tunnelend there is a holidayfarm Witt.
To be quite fair: Some new land will be also created on the German side.
tony beets lets go
Big fan of Tony but didn`t know he had a brother

Making the Netherlands bigger than Norway.
Get rid of the back ground music and use the machine exhausts.
You know what they say.
Places you can’t even walk!
Music detracts
It’s not the Baltic Sea it’s Østersøen
tony beets brother
Did the irish guy need subtitles?
yes I don't speak irish
I would hate to be in that tunnel when russia decides to drag an anchor through it
Lets try not to ruin EVERY part of the earth
These videos are too short. End of story
we've made them a lot longer than our videos last year and are working on making them even longer!
