Nebraska ain't that much different than the south...They just refused to adopt the accent. Larry's character is classic even if he isn't from the south. Before you get angst, I was born in Iowa...Then raised in west Texas. I figured it out over the course of my upbringing. Peace, Love!!
Britt, Britt, Britt...I'm a 69 year old that is crying with you. Ole Daniel Lawrence Whitney, AKA Tow Mater, is one of the funniest comedians ever. Damn smart man too.
I can't help but wonder if Larry's character "Mater, the Tow Truck" in the animated "Cars" films was named after him, and if Larry had a hand in that name being chosen
My fav big girl joke about his sister is, " my sister a big girl, my sisters so big, we had to hire rodeo clowns to distract her from the groceries " 🤣
I love Larry The Cable Guy. He started doing spots on the Ron & Ron show in Tampa. He paid his dues coming up through the comedy clubs and finally became a big star! Your cracking up makes me crack up. Love the reaction!!
I remember when they 1st starting opening them in rural areas. They were awesome and great customer service. That has since disappeared and now they force you to work for them, scanning and bagging your own stuff.
Larry had finished a show one night, and while leaving the stage said, "get er done" which he noted got a laugh, so he decided to make it part of the act.😹Smart!
My face hurt when i left his show from laughing i have seen all the blue collar guys Jeff and Bill 3 times i really wanna see them do 1 tour together 🤞🤞before they retire from touring
I once rode a Greyhound bus from Charlotte, NC to Anaheim, CA. Trip took 2-1/2 days. When I left they told me it would take 3-1/2 days. I was halfway across the country when I learned I'd be arriving on Thursday, not Friday. Had to call my LA friend to pick me up a day early. But you're right Britt -- one-way trip was $89. Quite an experience! I rode from Charlotte to Atlanta sitting on my bags in the aisle because the bus was full. Had a seat the rest of the way. The bus stopped at a Hardees in, I think it was, New Mexico -- not to get food though, or even a rest break. They were picking up convicts who'd just been released from prison. Armed deputies standing there to make sure the convicts got on the bus. Rode with a large Native American fella to somewhere in CA. He was as nice as he could be. Never forget that trip. Wouldn't do it today for a million bucks.
GREAT reaction! Loved your laughing so hard at this! You shold watch the end of the blue collar comedy tour where they are all sitting together on stage and telling little stories and jokes. And of course, Larry is a BIG part of a lot of them. LOL!!!
Britt, your laughter is beautiful and I thank you for sharing it with me! 😂 Go and spread laughter because, it's the only thing contagious I want to catch! 😊 From Oklahoma! 💜
We had a Walmart not far where I used to live that had all the crazy going on. It is a thing. Git R Done is his signature line. He says it any time he performs.
5:40 The "issue" with customer service post pandemic is that we were treated HORRIBLE for almost a year & we all broke as people. The 4 years before the pandemic I was only yelled at by a customer 5 times & 3 of those were the same customer. Week 1 of the pandemic I was SCEAMED at multiple times a day & twice too the point of having an panic/anxiety attack after not having had 1 in 6 years. We saw how little the general public cares/respects us & have matched the attitude accordingly.
You should check out Robin Williams stand up. Some of it is kind of dirty but there are clean ones too. He played the Genie in Aladdin. So he can do clean.
My truck broke down in Montana trying get back to Denver. I grabbed a Greyhound and 21 hours later I made it. My wife informed me that I could have caught a 1 3/4 hour flight for $50 more!
Not "more and more Walmarts aren't 24 hours"; they reduced their hours and started closing at 11:00 p.m. during the Great Flu Panic of 2020. They realized that they weren't only not losing money closing early, they were actually more profitable. All US walmarts. are open from 6a-11p.
I remember when they were 24 hours...my mom worked for the newspaper for the area and did a midnight delivery run, taking them to gas stations and the like. On the weekends or when I was on break from school she would take me with her to help unload them since it was more time for us to spend together since she worked 2 jobs. After we would deliver the papers we'd go to the local Walmart around 4-5am....place was EMPTY, we'd see the morning pep meetings happening and the big floor cleaner would be going around. We'd get out just as the sun was coming up during the summer months.
Larry is Chicken soup for our comic souls...I was rolling in the aisles with you....he is a genius with timing,,,,keep smiling...Karl from eastern Canada😂😂😂😂😂😂
Aww shucks, thanks! Ok, you’re the second person to say this. 😭😩 I’ve been playing around with my lighting and the stain glass windows near my studio help a bit too.
Well, it works, girl. And keep it up with the Larry the Cable Guy reactions. And if you notice, he has a fishing hook on his hat. He has a clip or two about his testimony.
I have a friend who is a large girl. So were her bridesmaids, all of whom had incredible senses of humor. When they came into the reception, they had the elephant march played.
I worked for a walmart for 16.5 years. In my first week I had a woman with 4 children come up to my register, the eldest son was "singing gospel", the other customers thought he was screeching curses in a dead language. The little old lady directly behind them in line asked me to tell the mother to, and I quote "have her son stop screeching or she will beat him with her cane." That should explain about how well the next 16.5 years went.
Wal-Mart was so different in 80's. Wide aisles that you could drive a mack truck down and someone every 10 feet asking if they could help you AND they actually had a cashier on every register. Whole place was different.
Stores used to close at 9:00 and were closed on Sunday. Working in customer service is like having a job emptying Port-a-potties, you just catch crap all day long. The first time I heard "Get 'er Done" was in the John Wayne movie "Rio Grande" (1950). The line was said by Ben Johnson.
I'm sorry to say my city has several walmarts; the southern is ghetto, the middle city can be sketchy, we always trek to the northern Walmart because the whole experience is safe inside & out + friendly inside & out.
When I was a young woman I loved shopping at Walmart after midnight. Felt safe and I could just relax and take my time. Employees stocking shelf’s and I was able to concentrate without being overwhelmed by crowds. Times have changed sadly. I could hit all the departments and grocery shop.
Larry, the Cable Guy did a call in on bubba the love sponge radio show 96.5 wqmf pretending to be a guy named Larry that repaired cable. At the time it was the number one FM channel in Florida and it was the The top rated radio show. He ended one of the call-ins with get her done!. The show started getting broadcast out to other states, The rest is history!
He was a daily guest on a morning show on a rock station in Orlando in the late 90s, early 2000s. I remember telling my wife that comedian will be huge because he was not only funny but had new inventive material every single day. He would do the show despite doing comedy at night and still was hilarious. PS check out Larry's reading children fairy tales.
I used to ride Greyhound, when I was a kid, to visit my grandparents. it was from one small town to another, so it couldn't be the express. The normal drive would be 3 hours, but the Greyhound was 5 hours.

I think if your company treats you well and makes the job fun, you will definitely have better customer service!!! Everything went downhill after the pandemic! I was just at Walmart today, 2 lines open with actual employees to check you out, and 5 self check out lanes at 1:15 pm. I DO NOT GET A DISCOUNT FOR CHECKING MYSELF OUT!
That's Larry at his best, the new king of the one liners. You haven't laughed that hard since that clip from James Gregory about big fat wide relatives! BTW, he and Jeff have their own channel on Sirius XM radio, Jeff and Larry's Comedy Roundup, formerly called Blue Collar Radio, it's real good.
Walmart stopped being 24 hours during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, when they significantly reduced their operating hours to allow for cleaning and restocking, and as of now, they have not announced plans to return to 24-hour operations at most stores.
The funniest comedy act I have ever heard is, Dennis Wolfberg - "The Rigid Sigmoidoscopy". After seeing him on TV several times, my wife and I saw him in person at a small venue and met him back stage after the show. A real nice, down to earth guy sitting there eating out of a McDonald's bag seemed genuinely happy that we came back to talk to him. Sadly, he passed away at a young age.

Now to be fair Ron does tell his "I got thrown out of a bar" joke but that's kinda one of his staple jokes along with Bill's "Here's Your Sign" and Jeff's "You Might Be a Redneck"...still it's a hoot to see all four of them sitting on stage at the same time and just telling jokes.
Larry is a bonafide southerner straight from Nebraska.
🤠
haha but Nebraska is nowhere near the south, its actually closer to the north
We will take Nebraska if they take Florida.
Nebraska ain't that much different than the south...They just refused to adopt the accent. Larry's character is classic even if he isn't from the south. Before you get angst, I was born in Iowa...Then raised in west Texas. I figured it out over the course of my upbringing. Peace, Love!!
The reality is, Redneck is Redneck... Nebraska, Georgia, Northern MInnesota where I reside... All the same Walmart stuff ha
He is beyond hilarious!! You young lady had me dyin’! 😂😂😂
Larry kicking down doors of those who think clean comedy can’t break you up! 😆
She still hasn't heard "Lord I apologize...".
NOW THAT IS ONE TO WATCH!!
And I pray for all the pigmies in New Guinea
find a link to the best video and post it here for her
@@newcreationkoi4577. Don’t forget, those are starving pigmies.

Larry is the best. He can improvise with the best
“My sister is a big girl. Last year I bought her a talking scale for Christmas. When she stepped on it, it said WHAT THE F*CK”. 😂😂.
😂😂😂
Damn that's bad.
"My sister's a runway model. Down at the airport". . . . .
He used to drop in on The Monsters of Midday radio show, too, and was always hilarious!
Can’t wait till Brit hears Larry’s “lord I apologize”😂
Oh yeah, forgot about that one!
Larry is an absolute legend. And just an absolute natural.
The customer service bit is so true. I have never seen a group of people who have collectively given up in quite the same way.
I remember when they 1st starting opening them in rural areas. They were awesome and great customer service. That has since disappeared and now they force you to work for them, scanning and bagging your own stuff.
Larry had finished a show one night, and while leaving the stage said, "get er done" which he noted got a laugh, so he decided to make it part of the act.😹Smart!
he explains it somewhere too
Tag line: Like, "Youuuu might be a redneck," "Here's your sign", and "I don't get no respect."
The man got you laughing horizontally, he`s a genius. :)
You almost had the theme to "Welcome back, Kotter" going on there.
That's exactly where I went!
I thought the same thing
Yes I heard it to...perfect cadence and all...that took me back
That's not how he really talks he has a Yankee accent😂 I still think it's hilarious😂
Really?!?
@@brittreacts yeah, its a character play. Still doesn't take anything away from the performance.
That's the kind of reaction you love to see. 💞

Ha! I LOVE IT! 😂😂😂 I've always heard of Larry but never seen his stand up and I've gotta say totally accurate and totally worth it!!! 😜😂

This is probably the best reaction video I’ve ever seen. Larry is a funny guy but never laughed that hard.
I got to meet Larry once as a teen when my step dad got to help the roadies for the state fair, he performed for it one night. He was awesome
Thank you for the smile! 😁💚
I really love the way you laugh....even though I have seen this before, your laughing make me appreciate it more....

He actually tells you where he lived at the start of his career and his home town in the bus joke. So odds are he did actually take that bus ride.
I go to Walmart at 6am, still quite a show.

Got to see him live about 15 years ago, in Corinth, Mississippi. He's one of the funniest people on earth.

The first time I heard about the Piggly Wiggly I thought it was made up !!!
I used to work 3rd shift at walmart, when the bars close the interesting people go shopping
