Definitely would recommend diversifying your income stream rather than solely depending on RUclips. Also your success on RUclips is also heavily dependent on the type of niche you're in. Definitely not easy but worth the rewards after dedication and hard work!

I totally agree with you and thanks for pointing this out. Diversifying your income stream is time consuming at first but once grown and established, can be very beneficial financially in the long run. I also like your point about success being dependant on niche.
I feel like every niche or channel has its ceiling whether we want to hear it or not. Finance and auto niche might be where the big bucks are but you also have to be passionate talking about that stuff, otherwise, it gets stale and mentally draining talking about a topic you’re not interested in and just doing for views.

Great video, what would you recommend to someone thinking of still pursuing it?

@@gbemio7610 Thanks for the feedback! Good question by the way. I guess my suggestion would be to evaluate first if going full-time is the right move for you. If you are already monetized then better, otherwise work toward getting there first.
Later, I would look at my subscriber count along with viewer engagement, the important variable being engagement. Am I currently getting views with each upload? Comments? Likes? All these metrics matter if you want to approach RUclips from a business perspective, and achieve a stable income while doing so. Hope this helps!
