Saw this on my yt page, came to look, liked and got connected. Hope to see you at my place soon. Love your chickens, I have some too as well as cats and dogs, all rescued and a am gardening but still a novice and have lots to learn☺
Great setup. I feel better about my plans. I'm glad it works well for you. I'll be doing something similar. Wish I had thought of the conduit and chickenwire panels before I went and bought a pipe framework structure. Meh, next time. Chickenwire isn't as cheap as it used to be, but still cheaper than some things. 18 inches of well-composted soil is amazing. Makes for a great garden.
I ran up on a great bargain at the feed store. I was stumbling around the wire yard and seen 2 huge rolls of 48" wire that had been in the yard for so long the cellophane and tags had rotted off. They practically gave them to me, and I've barely put a dent in the first roll.
lots of good information, thanks.
My pleasure.
Wow, your hens have an envious space to live in. Excellent work. Us, we the people, here in the UK, are all cooped up like sardines. Cheers Tony
Sad to hear that.
